I am making new positions on private sector banks like RBL, Kotak. I am going long on these two. Since last one year I am playing with Sun Pharma, South Indian Bank, some small cap SPIC, Batliboi, Andrew Yuel. Sun Pharma - Buy under 650 and sell at 700 South Indian Bank - Buy at 20 sell at 22 Batliboi - Buy at 22.50 sell at 24 SPIC - Buy under 22 sell at 24
RBL is over priced in comparison to peers. I bought it at 355 and sold at 492. Do you still feel it''s worth buying or accumulating in SIP mode. Hopefully Q4 results will make us rethink
Though it looks costly but if we see asset quality, low npa, loan growth then it is worth to buy. Much more left on expansion compared to peers. I am going long on this. I am not worried about short term 3 to 12 months. I can go up to 5 years.

If you are ready to hold for 5 year, then IDFC Bank is attractive at current level. In 5 years, you can see it as multibagger.

I am not much confident in IDFC and IDFC Bank. Though i am holding it since IPO but in small quantity. I am not confident in Management because of larger government stake. I can see this as IDBI Bank.
It is not going to be 30% dividend always. Govt. Guidelines says 30% of Profit should be declared as dividend. So on per share basis, it would be less than 30% dividend

Friends, after reading various comments about the fair pricing of HUDCO, many investors will recollect another PSU IPO of NHPC. During the earlier IPO boom, in 2009 when power sector was the hype in the market, NHPC issued shares at a C H E A P price of Rs 36. The investors fallen for the trap and got it oversubscribed several times. Result - investors lost heavily. It never reached the issue price, but was languishing at 14 to 16 for several years. Even now it is at Rs 32. Never go for an IPO on the basis of gray market price only But, pricing is more important.

Its good to see a healthy debate between members regarding the valuation of HUDCO. Go ahead and debate but then it should not become personal from any angle and members should not take it to heart.
