First we must ensure that the bank branch able to do ASBA. First time we must discuss about ASBA facility in the branch people and confirm that the ASBA IPO done satisfactory. Any bank branch......this thing we must take care....
You can apply through sbi and on allotment , shares allotted in IPO will be credited in ur DP account with zerodha. U can sell them through zerodha whenever u like.
Dear friend, you have to apply from your internet banking login of SBI and you will be asked to give the DMat account numbers, so you have to give the DMat account number. so once u get allottment you will get the shares credited to your Zerodha account and amount will be debited from your SBI account....

If you hand over Application to designated bank directly then it should get blocked same day. If you submit through broker then it takes 1 to 3 days. You should always ensure to have funds in the bank before submitting your application.

Avoid if you are retail investor. Topline growth is under pressure from last 2 years. CAGR is only 3.5 % which is very low. I am suggesting to look for 2 3 quarter see how balance sheet will looks after reducing debt then enter into this company.
As per my valuation matrix, fair price of HPL comes at Rs 111 only (standard benchmark valuation model)
Since BRLM’s have priced the issue at Rs 202, we shall compare its valuations with peers Company……….PE………. Havells………….21.07 (Consolidated) Techno Elec……22.94 Honda Siel….27.45 HBL Power……..44.44 Bharat Bijlee…...51.40 Swelect Energy..26.76 Salzer Elec…….18.61 Veto Switch…….26.06 AVERAGE PE….29.84
If we give industry average PE of 29.84 to HPL, its fair value comes at Rs 235
Industry average PE excluding HBL Power and Bharat Bijlee is 23.82, then fair price comes at Rs 188
Issue would have been very attractive if priced at Rs 175 (lower band)
Anyway, I expect 5% listing gains and may see Rs 212 on screen
This doesn''t mean that I recommend you guys to apply, above valuations are for learning and educational purpose only
2 times book 76.3*2=Rs 152.6 18 times earnings 7.89*18=Rs 142.02 1.5% dividend yield 0.1/0.015=Rs 6.66 Average of above three valuations 100.43 Now, give it a RONW premium i.e. (EPS/BV)*100 or (7.89/76.3)*100=10.34% 100.43+10.34%=Rs 111
PS:- Valuation is less because of low dividend yield on investment. Company paid dividend of 0.10 (Ten Paisa) only for financial year 2015-16 which translates to dividend yield of only 0.05% as against standard dividend payout of 1.5%.
If after IPO with increase in EPS as suggested by Dr Sethia above company increases the dividend payout then fair value can increase further
Standard Benchmark valuation model is relevant only when you want to make a long term investment in a company, for short term this valuation model will not work
CORRECTION as against standard dividend yield of 1.5%
@lakho baroda, there still exist risk of forgoing more profits if HPL lists at premium of more than Rs 11. Companies leverage will reduce post IPO and balance sheet will look healthy and this will increase future cash flows which will help the stock price to stay at higher valuation. I am not expert to give specific comment on listing day gains it all depends on sentiment
You can apply more than one lot in your own name, PAN, and Demat A/c. Make sure that your application size is below Rs 200000. In HPL case maximum you can apply is 14 lots
If you/retail wish to apply for more than 2 lacs then you have to apply under NII-Individuals or HNI
Kostak is like hiring of a womb! you can buy (sell) an application form in somebody elses name, who has a DP account and reap the benefit.... Thus you can submit application in others DP account, against a consideration. on Allotment, the beneficiary has to transfer the allotted shares againt the allotted money plus Kostak(i .e. per application rate is 400 to 450 in grey market so on one application 70 shares may be allotted then grey market price is 5 to 6 is it correct ?any body.| | |
Allotment anoucement :29 September 2016 Asba unlocking : 30 September 2016 Shares Credit to Demat account:3 October 2016 Listing and commencement of trading : 4October 2016
post ipo nav value 111 and roe 15 percent so with reduction in interest cost and subsidiary inclusion fair value 270 and issue price 202 so i apply with full force hpl
