I don’t think that one’s behaviour will influence such a precious n well mannered gentleman. When we know that we can’t change the attitude of the others, it is better to accept them as they are. I understand that Aniket ji is well experienced and aware of such principles.
I strongly believe that he may be otherwise busy n fully engaged and not in a position to spare his valuable time. Everyone knows his kindhearted helping attitude. Let us hope that it is not far off to get the benefits of his valuable views. Thank you.
Think we must ignore negative messages floating here. Value investors should definitely invest as the company remains focussed on product quality and has a long-standing track record in the distributor network and is a well-established brand image which will help the company in penetrating new product categories. Remember, you need to pay a premium to invest in a brand.
My main Reason for Applying in this company its market share is 17%(compare to pidilite around 65%) ipo price 274 face value rs.10, but pidilite share is around 2400 face value-1 so as my point of view for long term investment its good...
is this market share of 65% is of particular product of Pidilite ... since Pidilite deals in various products line... so if considering just one product line and comparing to that line then we need to understand the share of that product in Pidilite ?

Definitely, Retail section''s subscription creates the euphoria and buzz but it''s ultimately the QIB and HNI section that are real helmsmen of any IPO. Waiting for QIB & HNI numbers to show up..
Due to not allotment in previous IPOs and Work from Home effect, lot of new investors, specially retails are jumping to every new IPO, without thinking anything.
Not saying, this HP IPO is good or bad, but simply saying, retail investors not using their brain.
@GJ - If you see the trend, every new IPO, that gets oversubscribed - QIB - 100x, 200x etc. just because of the hype, it is listing premium right? So obviously new retail investors are putting in their money for listing gains!
My point, For sure, retail investors should invest money in IPOs and get handsome returns. But not all IPOs are good, right? They are pouring money in anything, without thinking twice.
And yes, you are also right. If every IPO is giving them returns, then why shouldn''t they.

Since IPO is of small size ( 126 Cr. ) and Retail is only 10%, there is very high chance to manipulate and taken over by operators on listing day as well next couple of days after listing....

@IpoRetailer - Since there will be very less quantity for retail, price can be easily controlled by operators and so price can be manipulated towards either side ....

Again this is small issue and so it will be having 5% circuit, so can easily be manipulate the trades and price..
Hi Friends There is "No meat on the bone". Over priced , highly competitive products with low margins. Plant capacities are too low to get profitability. May be small listing gains since small issue.
The TTM (September 2021) adjusted EPS of Rs 5.57 on a post-issue basis, the company is going to list at a P/E of 49.23 with a market cap of Rs 504 crore, while its peer Pidilite Industries Limited is trading at P/E of 89.75. Think investors should ‘subscribe’ to this IPO as the company is a fast-growing adhesives and sealants player with an established brand presence and available at reasonable valuation compared to its peer.

Retail already 10 times + One of the, if not the smallest issues so far. After anchor investors, just 70 - 75 crores size and of that just 4.5 lakh shares for RII. In other words, about 9200 people in India will get this in retail category.
So far no indicative GMP, but hopefully it should give good returns..

Dear experts hp adhesive subscribe for listings gain or not???
How come this IPO retail already 10X and no GMP updates as of now....Is it due to it being T listing everyone expects it to be perform like Sigachi or other T list shares....Can anyone let me know what is appox total expected figures for NII & QIB after seeing retail show.....
Was planing to apply from one or two accounts max....now will plan on final day after seeing figures....
Pidilite enjoys over 65% (overall) market share while HP Adhesives is having a market share of around 17% (for solvents). Thus it will be the second-largest player in the segment among listed entities. Sonal Adhesives and Nikhil Adhesives are small players. To gain market share, HPAL is taking a small hit on margins. Its expansion will bring more additions to the top and bottom lines once completed. Think the valuations are justified as we will investing small Pidilite
is Jubilant Industries product in different category OR in this same sector?
and what is the market share of Jubilant Industries?
JIVANJOR Brand

COEUS Global opportunities fund(26.46%), 3 Sigma Global fund(46.7%), AG Dynamics Fund Ltd(26.84%) These are the only anchor investors. I have seen these names for the first time in Anchor book. Has anyone idea about them?
