SME IPO'S gives us opportunity to invest in a company which is in nascent stage. Here
➡️Promoters are technocrats
➡️Company works in niche segment
➡️Raised money will be used for expansion
➡️Virtually no competition locally
➡️Renowned names in clientele
➡️ Financials doesn't looks cooked (No Super Duper earnings in last FY, that we always see in most SME'S)
➡️ Targeting 40 crores topline in current FY

What else do we look for in SME company.

Waisa bhi, SME allotment (in a good company) is not easy these days (I got after trying for almost 14/15 months) , so its better to hold the alloted lot then to hunt for a distant dream.

As we all know the allotment date for this ipo is Sep 25 2023 nad the refund date is Sep 26 2023

but i received a message from my bank on Sep 22 2023 by 9:45 that "Your Kotak Bank UPI-Mandate is successfully revoked by Holmarc Opto Mechatr for scheduled payment of Rs.120000.00."

Please someone help me to understand the situation

1. how can the UPI mandate can be revoked in 2 days before the allotment date & refund date

2. Is this common or i have a issue with my bank (this year I got allotment for EMS Ltf & Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd but no allotment in any SME IPOs)

3. Apart from this IPO Madhusudan Masala Ltd IPO got revoked for me today early morning (Sep 23 2023 at 10:23) "Your Kotak Bank UPI-Mandate is successfully revoked by Madhusudan Masala for scheduled payment of Rs.140000.00."

please someone help me to understand it.

Listing on Monday 25/09/2023 for Holmarc. Circular issued by NSE.

Probably 1st SME company going to listing on T+3. Great work by LM and RTA

Applied for 144 lots i.e. 432000 shares and NII were subscribed less than 94 so effectively crossed 1.5...

Received this reply for allotment.

"We are in receipt of your emails. Kindly note that there were 5 applications in the category of 432000 and as per the proportionate allocation there were 23320 shares available for allotment to this category. Further as per the proportionate allocation per application, each application was entitled to get 4664 shares, which was rounded off to nearest lot of 6000. Accordingly, we could allot only 4 applications in this category, as maximum shares available for allotment in this category is 24000, being nearest bid lot for 23320. Hence the basis of allotment was finalized yesterday, in the ratio of 4:5 for this category. Unfortunately, your application was the non-allottee application in this category."

It means they would allot 24000 shares to 1 person or 12000 shares to 2 people and rest won't get a single share...

If we refer, Kundan BOA, if someone applied more than NII subscription then got 1 lot and if more than one applicant then each one got 1 and for balance lottery is there. You people can refer Kundan BOA which I believe released 2 days back only....

Whether NII or retail, we all desperately wait for allotments...

This is shockingly unfair. Fair allotment of 8 lots would have been 1 lot each to all five and balance 3 by lottery.

All SME IPOs follow the same pattern of allotment?

Like no Lottery, no proportionate basis?

They give allotment only to selected persons ( means their own near and dear ) ?

If it is yes, then Retailers/small HNIs like me can skip this game of block/unblock 😔 🙁

Before Homarc, i applied for Kundan edifice and I did not get any shares in Kundan. Tab maine Kundan message board pe likha tha "Kali Kalkattewali ke charnome jake girna padega lagta hai". Aur dekho kya ho gaya. 3000 shares of Holmarc alloted for 1 HNI appplication of 108000. Jai Kali mata ki.

What needs to be done to apply under HNI category ?
