Dear Sreedhar,
Thank you very much for your advice and for the effort taken. I will do as you have suggested.
90. sreedhar |   Link |  Bookmark | July 6, 2010 8:53:06 PM
Dear Prince,
wait till 230 PM if you are applying in ASBA & 4pm If physical form. Then we can see how its subscription is going on.If subscription is not good then there is no chance it will list with premium. My personal opinion is it will be subscribed very less in Retail (1-2 Times)
89. sreedhar |   Link |  Bookmark | July 6, 2010 8:49:23 PM
Dear Natarjan,
You can sell your right shares the day before they actually list.I did the same for NMDC.Then there will not be as much selling pressure as the actual day of listing. In this you can come out of the issue with profit.
88. sreedhar |   Link |  Bookmark | July 6, 2010 8:45:41 PM

Dear Sreedhar,
I was away for 5 days and returned only now. I couldn't read your mail about EIL. Had I been around I too would have bought that. I missed the bus now. However I will catch it at the time of FPO. I don't intend to apply HMVL, unless at the last moment they is heavy subscription.

Agricultural Bank of China's Shanghai initial public offering was about 20 times oversubscribed by institutional investors, a source with direct knowledge of the listing said on Tuesday.

Wonder $22 billion dollar IPO getting such a huge response.Lets see how our biggest IPO coal India which is $2.5 billion ie 1/10 th size will fare.

Ravi, Bangalore/Sreedhar,
1. What is your opinion on the Rights Issue of Rei Agro? As I had 250 shares I have the right to apply for 500 shares. Will it be worth to apply for additional shares?
2. I received the Rights Issue application in a mutilated condition. For a duplicate application I have given a mail to The Registrar of the issue as indicated in the application form. Will they respond in time? What else can be done. Will it be okay if I use cellophane tape and join the torn portion and apply?

SO far very poor response for this not so great ipo.

Nowadays for most promoters IPOS imply Idiotic Preposterous & Overpriced .

Really important to find promoters who had the conscience n guts to leave something on the table for small investors. Some names that come to the mind are Cox n Kings,ARSS,Man Infra,REC,Jubilant food,Technofab,United bank.Hats off to them

gem,so you are applying for HMVL?Have you skipped Technofab?
78. Ravi Bangalore |   Link |  Bookmark | July 6, 2010 4:04:14 PM
It may trade around Rs.154 post-listing.

Better to weigh options of investing in the company at a lower price in the secondary market.

I don't represent that this information is accurate and hence, don't rely solely on this information alone. Use it only as a source of data that complements your research, rather than completes it.

Investors are advised to take an informed decision on the IPO after independent verification & analysis.

Costly IPO.
Deccan chronical is at a p/e of 11.45. I bought Deccan chronical in small quantity today.
