I have worked as summer intern in HAL and it''s shocking that they are unable to copy designs.
Tejas aircraft is rejected by Air Force .
When other manufacturers shifted to 5th generation aircraft. HAL is not capable to deliver 3rd generation Tejas after 12 yrs testing.
That''s why we need to stay away from such stock.

In govt sector able persons are always rejected.

Indians ko aap trust karenge nahi, Indian products aap lena chahte nahi. Aur to aur chalo paisa na kharch karo, kam se kam demotivating speech to avoid karo. Jab aap na support dete ho na trust karte ho to complain kyu karte ho.

naveen, issue is indeed about private and psu... not about the things that you have pointed out.
Look at Coal India, REC, PFC, NTPC, Hindustan Copper and dozens of other PSU, see how they have eroded the investors money over the years. You will get the answer.

HAL will fly away in horizon far-off with all the hopes and dreams of its investors. Chal ur ja re pankhi......Bipadkaale budhhinaash....!!!

Yea, the pilot will wear suit/helmet with LIC logo reminding him of the insurance cover to do anything with the ill-engineered, glitch stricken HAL jets and helos... and when the danger comes (bipadkal), he thinks of LIC (buddhinaash) and hits missile arm+launch button, but the poor Jet fires countermeasures (flares) which bursts inside the Jet instead of launching. Jet Lee plans another FPO to raise money so that advanced on-board weapons computer system can be procured from Russia at cost of billions...while news channels scream "Tejas aapni hi tej se jal gaaya!"

My Father works in HAL, I wanted to apply for this IPO as Employee as it has 24Rs/share discount. I will be applying online from HDFC, Can I apply as employee if yes where can i enter employee id ? or what is the process for employees?

Apply using your father demat account number & his saving account only. HDFC does not allow to apply for others except whose PAN is appearing in ASBA application while applying.

apply through a PSU bank account with fathers PAN & DMAT.

Gmp of HAL is 4-5(negligible trade)

You will get the shares with discount if alloted. Some banks block full amount and some with discount.
