On financial front this company performance is encouraging. Last three year CAGR of EPS, NAV, RONW is very good. Also promoter has left money on the table. IPO is priced at 20 P/E TTM.

Out of the three IPOs of this February Herbana is one of the best company in terms of comparison with peers. This company is present in the entire product value chain of agrochemicals industry like Intermediates, technicals and formulations. this has diversified its business from manufacturing and selling of Intermediates to manufacturing, marketing and selling of technicals and formulations. Majority of its current Intermediates production is utilized for captive consumption for manufacturing technicals.

Asset Turnover ratio is quite commendable at 5.8X in FY20. Cash flow generation has been quite steady with cumulative operating cash flow and Free Cashflow of Rs 250 Crore and Rs 160 Crore, respectively through FY18-1st HFY21.

Apply fully..Nice track record, PAT CAGR above 40 for last 3 years, export oriented company (specially export to China 30%), Available at PE of just 26, top listed peers avg. PE at 59, not surprised to see GMP above 300 on listing day.

Except one or two litigation issues, overall good ipo for short as well as long term.

Based on financial, P/E and P/BV parameters, the issue appears reasonably priced. The company has many known brands in its portfolio. HIL reaps benefits from rising exports to developed countries of its products with better margins. The company has a dividend track record as well. Considering all these aspects, investors may consider an investment with a long term perspective.
