In the same period, its net profit halved and it closed last year with Rs 31.41 crore. ARJUN not sure about EPS u r quoting if u right price band would around 600-650 IMO

Dear Mehul depends on which institutions trading account u have. Most private banks trading account allow till 1500h. HDFC allows till 1600h.

this is hard nut to crack on fundamental given its hub and spoke business model if this was just a conventional hospital business it would be no brainer given the price of it peers..... However in case of HCG it is hospital without brick mortar and land in its business model.

All spoke owner r small hospital in which they have a floor or two under JV so how can u value this business model at 1850 crores is beyond me. the show is run by doctors tomorrow the MD kaputt the HCG will be LOST IMO.....

I really do not know how to value this business model IMO at 50% discount MC to revenue ratio then the company was not left anything on the table.... also i am not sure how the market will take if it take this hub and spoke and does not discount as much to conventional hospital business model then it will list at premium.

Also given healthcare sector have done well on IPO front may be market will reward even with hub and spoke model.

I am going sit on bench on this IPO will see how is demand from HNI and QIB and general public before applying... also the GMP is not much Rs20 which could disappear in no time

I would reckon valuing it like any other on profitability, capital efficiency metrics, etc...all retail businesses follow the leasing out philosophy and it works out superbly well from a Balance Sheet health perspective.

My research suggests that Apollo Hospitals too is following a similar lease philosophy for its newer units under its single speciality businesses vertical.

i am very much familiar with apollo operation yes it has stand alone operation and Jv run however the big difference is it is 100% not one floor or two floor.... The issue here is not the business model the issue here is u cannot put HCG and apollo ETC in same level when u calculate the valuation. 1850 cr is big money for business which has no bottom line.... let see this is not a issue to spend more time best case it may give 10% return so better option would be wait.... plus market is no mode to reward it is more in a mode to punish....may give this issue a miss if QIB is not much interested

i like business which has less chance of going wrong and HCG has many such chance of going wrong....

In today paper a person committed sucide and killed his whole family with loans invested in market it wish not to play in market with that to borrowed money so pls only invest with ur money
