hdil's graph will move northward on the day of listing as per my analysis the trader should sell the mament it starts going southward and again short when it touches the high point again on the next day

Valuations and recommendation

We have valued HDIL’s current land bank only and assumed execution period of four-five years. We estimate its total revenues at INR 392 billion, generating profit after tax of INR 196 billion in the next five-six years. This translates into NAV of INR 585-597 per share at the lower and upper price bands, respectively. The IPO is at the price band of INR 430-500, which leaves an upside of 36-19%, respectively.

The government has been keen on developing Dharavi, the biggest slum in Asia. Dharavi occupies close to 8% of the total land bank of Mumbai and covers more than 50% of the total population of Mumbai. We believe, as and when SRS is introduced in the area, HDIL will likely be one of the biggest beneficiaries given its track record and credentials in managing such schemes. This will be a big positive for the company.

We recommend ‘subscribe’ to the IPO.
