For shareholder category you must be holding shares as on August 18, 2017.

ok so i am going to apply 10 lots in retail category now.....hopefully it will give 10 rs premium on listing day and i can recover my GIC loss.....

HDFC LIFE IPO is like marrying a good wife and getting returns is like giving birth to a bright son or daughter. Listing gains are just like temporary girl friends.The returns should not be compared.

Go and apply in full force. I regret why I was just 9 years old when HDFCBANK was listed. Dont regret after 10 or 20 years.

enquire thoroughly (research) before marriage and when you get everybody''s reaction (listing) then marry. it is better to wait sometime than jump to wedlock in a hurry.

Sugreev ji, HDFC has an impeccable track record, You can marry anyone from their family blindly. They will take care if by any chance their granddaughter (HDFC LIFE) is not performing well :-) after all, DNA does not change you see? :-)
