Nice stock for long term.

Hi team,

i have mistakenly applied 2 lots for employee portion through HDFC app, i am not HDFC employee.

Will i get shares, if portion is undersubscribe? or any chances?
Can someone please advice.

@Vijayranga. Kamal karte ho vijay ji. Ek toh galti se apply in employee quota than expecting allotment. Sorry vijay ji No chance of allotment. Employees quota got oversubscribed because of wrong bidding like this ( just joking).

Now you are in profit. Take your investment amount by selling few shares. So what ever shares left are your profit. Keep them for long term.
Let me make it simple. You bought 10 shares @ Rs:100. So your investment is Rs 1000.
Now each share is trading at Rs:125. So sell 8 shares. Now your investment is back. Leave the remaining 2 shares in Demat account and forget about them. Anyone those two shares are profit.

My take on this IPO is that every long term investor should buy this stock, not necessarily through IPO. Those who are looking for listing gains can instead buy after listing at a low and sell intraday for high because long term investors should start buying at lower price.

I feel that even if I have to spend 500-1000 extra (for 50 shares), its better to buy a few days After the listing....at least i will come to know the LT trend.

And if it comes at a discount, then its a bonus.

Indeed ..the IPO is for those that want to buy a thousands to a few lakh shares ... it makes sense for them to subscribe !! not to a mango person
