When company will receive 3750cr out of the issue it is not clear how how 4500cr will go towards debt repayment.

I think GMP will cross 450 soon.. earlier when price band was around 1350 GMP was 210-215 .. people ready to pay 1550 for HDFC Amc earlier.. they will pay this time also..

@Vikas, there is difference between HDFC and HDFC Life. You asked about HDFC then you moved to HDFC Life. Shareholder quota is for HDFC Only.

hudco - exit above 60
sadbhav - exit near 325
cdsl , tata global - bought at very high price.cdsl no chance to reach 370 but you can wait in tata global.
bombay dying - exit at cmp and book nominal loss.This stock is in SEBI's ASM black list.
sterlite - It will test your patience but in LT it will reach near 350
ITC - when did you bought ? it's long time but will cross your buying price.
ujjivan-bought at high price but nothing to worry.you will get your price.Right point to enter is below 350 level.you can average it by buying more from sale proceeds.

What about HNI/NII category, how much it could subscribe? What is wiser, apply Retail OR apply full force NII?

How much it is expected to subscribe in retail 10x??? Chances of allotment...?? Confused if I should sell my applications in kostak.

Retail 5,97,000 application available for allotment. D Mart subscribed 21 lakh application. 21 lakh application may come to HDFC AMC IPO. So retail subscription may be 3.5 times maximum.

HDFC has approximately 2.46 lakh shareholders.
HDFC AMC has 184,618 lots on offer for shareholders of HDFC.
Only 25,021 shareholders of HDFC applied in HDFC SL IPO under shareholder reservation category.
For shareholders with funds to spare, it makes sense to apply for the maximum of 169 shares in shareholder category since there is a high possibility of being allotted more than 13 shares.

I think in right issue and buyback it is on propotional basis and fresh issue lottery basis
