I have 8 dmat a/c. Out of 8 , 7 are HDFC shareholder also so total 15 applications are possible. How many shares to be applied in different names as retail general and share holder pl advise.

you can also apply 169 shares each in 7 account (shareholders category) and 13 shares each in all 8 accounts separately. Total 7 + 8 = 15 applications. Correct me if I am wrong.

I don't get any mail from HDFC regarding shareholder but I am since 4 years. Will they allow particular shareholder having shares more than 'x' number?? or all shareholders are allowed no minimum share holding required?

You will not get any communication from HDFC.
You can apply under share holder quota even if you have even 1 share of HDFC on 14-3-18

Is it preferable to apply in Retail or HNI? When u have fund of 2.5 lakhs and only 1 account? What can be the ratio in HNI? Is it based on proportionate amount or application?

If you see the past trend of Retail subscription, the HDFC can easily covered 3X in the retails...

imo one shld go for buying at pre opening .
u can get 100+ intraday profit .
so buy as much as u can .
there is no question tat this vil go like dmart for long term .
as per now people r confuse wer to invest so this stock is liable to buy for long term .it vil definitely b double in 6 to 8 mth.
over all one shld not miss this golden opportunity.

I have recently opened a three in one account with ICICI Bank and not with a regular stock broker.Does pre market open buy work at ICICIDirect.com?
Please take the extra trouble of explaining this for the benefit of many boarders here.

best way to buy in preopen is by calling your broker for bids before 9.45 in case of IPO , in routine listed share you can put your bid at price before 9.08 am...

Adjusted GMP comes to 420

Pls clarify, Shareholder quota if oversubscribes then allotment is proportionate or draw of lots like retail quota.
1. ICICI PRUDENTIAL was proportionate allotment.
2. SBI ICICI SECURITIES, HDFC LIFE ALL ARE SUBSCRIBED BELOW ONE TIME SO WE CAN NOT GET CORRECT DETAILS FROM THOSE ISSUE.

It will be like draw of lots if it is oversubscribed
"In the event the number of Eligible HDFC Shareholders who have submitted valid Bids in the Offer is more than Maximum Eligible HDFC Shareholders Allottees, the Eligible HDFC Shareholders (in that category) who will then be Allotted minimum Bid Lot shall be determined on the basis of draw of lots."
