HDFC AMC vs RELIANCE NIPPON AMC:
As on 30 June 2018:
Mutual Funds held 2,93,24,666 shares in RNAM and the stake has been increasing every month.
HDFC Mid-cap Opportunities Fund held 1,23,14,040 shares in RNAM.
HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund held 39,85,208 shares in RNAM.
HDFC Equity Fund held 39,77,140 shares in RNAM.
Even a novice investor can predict that Mutual Funds which hold RNAM will also buy HDFC AMC.

HDFC SL Anchor:
Total Anchor Size in HDFC SL was 2,74,13,600 shares.
On listing day, NOMURA, which had not participated in Anchor, bought 1,92,62,414 shares of HDFC SL.
As on 30 June 2018, HDFC Hybrid Fund held 14,22.438 shares of HDFC SL.
NOMURA did not participate in Anchor.
HDFC Mutual Fund Schemes were not allowed to participate in Anchor.
Even a novice investor can predict that NOMURA or some of the HDFC Mutual Fund Schemes will buy HDFC AMC after listing.

From NSE website go to ASBA e-forms. From there you can view category/investors status (Ind) here you click, you can view lot invesors like FI, Co ,HUF , SHA
Click SHA and take print like individual form.

If you buy at more than 400 premium then chances are more you will burn your fingers on listing day.

This is in overbought zone, after tomorrow subscription in Retail ,premium may fall to 370-400 range ,kostak below 1400 and can stabilize there.

Life time high form expected atleast 25Lakh.

Hdfc AMC:
The asset management business is significantly affected by market fluctuations and general economic conditions, which could affect business in many ways, including by reducing the value of AUM, causing a decline in investment management fees, portfolio management fees or fees from advisory services, reducing systematic transactions, and causing customers to withdraw their investments, each of which could materially and adversely affect revenue, business prospects and financial condition.

The business also depends on consumer confidence in the overall economy, as well as overall economic growth rates, household savings rates and consumer attitudes towards financial savings, in particular, within India.

The equity and debt markets in India have been and may continue to be volatile and any such volatility will contribute to fluctuations in future AUM.

The performance of schemes is critical to retaining existing customers as well as attracting new customers, which is also an important factor in the growth of AUM.

A large portion of AUM is concentrated in a few schemes. As of March 2018, top six equity-oriented schemes constituted 79.1% of total equity-oriented AUM and top six debt schemes constituted 65.5% of total debt AUM. The performance of these schemes has a significant impact on AUM and consequently revenue. Underperformance by any of these schemes may have a disproportionate adverse impact on the AUM and revenue.

Any regulatory changes or competitive pressure leading to reduction in fund management charges can affect revenues and profits adversely.

in retail quota investors get minimum share lot i.e. 13 only as per sebi guidlines.
hence apply for minimum lot.if you have surplus money apply for minimum lot with different demat for separate pan to increase your allotment chances

I want to apply in shareholder quota
Can I apply for 13 lot or 12 lot
Is it any quantity different in allotment

Apply 13 shares in public quota and 156 in Share holder quota.

After going through the deliberations of the experts, I have come to the following conclusions --------'
1)As issue is sure to be oversubscribed , in Retail category only 1 lot (13 shares) ..14300/- need be applied.
2)A HDFC shareholder can apply up to 13 lots (169 shares) ..1,85,900/- in Shareholders category , ALSO.
3)If SH has only 15000/- he should apply in 1st
category , as 2nd is expected to be oversubscribed much more.
4)In SH category, bigger application (max 13 lots) will improve chances of allotment.
Pl. correct me if something is wrong.

I think one can apply in Retail and SH categories each up to 13 lots.

Against one PAN no.total number of shares value should not exceed 2 lakh .one should apply 13 shares in retail and 156 shares in HDFC share holder catagery

I have 3 PAN accounts and 3 lakhs in my account, should I equally distribute the amount in all 3 or 1.85L in one and remaining in other or apply in HNI category ?

Since Retail category of this issue is going to oversubscribe multiple times, so no matter how many lots you apply, you will only get 1 Lot. So my advice is, apply at least 1 lot from each of your accounts.

if you are shareholder of company on 14/3/2018 u can apply under shareholder quota.
