HDFC is the promoter company of this AMC.
They hold a large chunk of AMC shares along with standard life.
The drhp states:
HDFC holds 120,772,800 Equity Shares and Standard Life Investments, holds 80,515,200 Equity Shares, which constitutes 57.36% and 38.24%, respectively, of the Company's pre-Offer, issued, subscribed and paid-up Equity Share capital.

The value of these shares after the IPO will certainly go upwards.

AS the possibility of getting AMC ipo shares is pure lottery, will it be good to buy HDFC shares itself.
Since new to the ipo market experienced boarders please share their thoughts.

Can any one help me on my below Query.
I am having IIFL account. While applying through ICICI bank. I selected NSDL, since IIFL is NSDL is selected NSDL.
It is asking for DP ID: , DP Account: , DP name:
DP id: i can clearly see in my profile
DP name i think its INDIA Infoline
DP account? I am not sure what i have to enter. I see BO ID in my profile. Does BO ID and Account number are same?

Usually i apply with ZERODHA by selecting CDSL. I know the process.

Please help me in understanding NSDL and IIFL?
