Hello Friends, i filed IPO from axis bank net banking for AMBER in JAN'18 i am not sure that weather my account was deducted or not as some people says that the money just gets blocked. I am not sure but i think my money is still not returned to me. i am very worried it was my firs IPO and i faced this. Anyone please help me how can i confirm this.
if you have net banking go to accounts and see if you have lein amount...or get entery into yout passbook. When you apply Ipo from axis bank your amount is nit debited but balance is reduced and Ipo amount goes into lean...
When you apply for IPO, money will never get deducted from your a/c unless you get allotment. It will only get blocked until allotment is out. Just select "Enquire on lien" drop down option in your axis bank login and check.
QIB subscription is not great at the moment. May be they'll join the party post lunch...

There is a frenzy for this issue after seeing appreciation in HDFC Life Insurance and having missed that opportunity. HDFC Life was and is still a good buy at current levels of 485. It is better than HDFC AMC. Profit in AMC business is low compared to insurance. India is underinsured with high potential for insurance.
Reliance Nippon Asset declared Q1 results with mere 3% increase in yoy PAT.
I do not think so you can do it online. Maybe offline. Because for online i think the name of the account holder and the applicant may need to be the same
Hi, can I apply in shareholder category through Online/ASBA. Or physical green application is mandatory to apply in this category ? My trinity account is in Kotak. Kindly help.. thanks.
bhai qib almost 6 time ,hni 13 time ,and rii 3.5 time ......ye picture chalu hi heee........aaj to climax he or end ayega......hdfc is not just a name ............its brand.............

@uchit: you are wrong. I have verified with hdfc ltd by calling their numbers. In both categories, we can apply for 169 shares, means max upto 2 lakh in each category.

@jimmydave: no you can't apply in shareholder category....only HDFC shareholders are eligible for that category
What does it mean to apply more than 1 lot in Retail. It is already oversubscribed. Why to unnecessarily block money?

@uchit: who is saying to apply more than 1 lot in retails category ? my point is simple, hope you understood....since you said 12 lots in shareholder category but it can be 13 in that...
I am going by Retail Category definition set by SEBI - Less than Rs. 2,00,000 application. If I apply 13 lots in Shareholder category - Rs. 185900 If I apply 1 lot in Retail category - Rs. 14300 Total - 2,00,200. It exceeds Rs. 2,00,000 limit.
Why take risk? Apply in SEBI limit of Rs. 2,00,000.
Apply 12 lots in Shareholder category.
If you apply 13 lots in Shareholder then chances are more both applications are rejected.
I think those who are applying in both Retail and Shareholders Quota wont be issued any share and their applications will be rejected because as per rule only one application per pan can be applied

@uchit: it's not a chance and its not retail category only....shareholder is different category...i am hdfc shareholder and i got mail accordingly that i can apply in both with upto 169 shares in each....also i verified by calling their customer care number too.....
and many others also verified as said in comments....its not just 2 lakh per one pan card...and its not just retail so why you are combining both retail and shareholder category
SEBI rule is same for all. Same as ICICI shareholders while IPO of ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities. Total limit is 2,00,000. It may possible if it exceeds more than 2,00,000 then application considered in HNI category or because of multiple both are rejected.
Uchit Patel, why you are giving wrong info. Many people called HDFC Ltd, Karvey, HDFC Investor help line, all are saying that HDFC LTd shareholder can apply 169 shares in each category ie Shareholder category and individual Retail category. So if you are shareholder and if you are confused please contact HDFC ltd and confirm your issue. thanks
HDFC had 2575 employees, as on 31 March 2018, and IPO has reservation of 560,000 shares for them. Each HDFC employee can get allotment of a minimum of 217 shares, provided the number of employees has not increased. HDFC AMC had 1010 employees, as on 31 March 2018, and IPO has reservation of 320,000 shares for them. Each HDFC AMC employee can get allotment of a minimum of 317 shares, provided the number of employees has not increased.
I've applied thru IOB Net banking for my father and my brother account. I've got the application number from the IOB. But when I'm checking the application status in BSE Website, it is not showing anything. Kindly let me know what could be the reason and amount is also under hold.
