What led to the discussion on REC ofs? If any details required, pls ask since I was allotted in 3 accounts abt 200 shares each, then at abt 315 rupees each. Ex bonus worked out to 159 rupees or so ( incl brokerage). Sold some ex bonus at 120 abt an year or two ago. Rest holding. Ex bonus it has reached abt 220 high and 90 low recently. Holding on as I see no reason for it to fall this way except the RBI circular which forced an unreasonable NPA classification. The matter is subjudice in allahabad high court and panic was caused when the high court lifted the interim stay on the circular. However the matter continues in the court and the finance min is likely to oppose the RBI circular there. The results for 1st qtr were also disappointing due to NPA provisioning. However did not merit such a steep fall. Added some more at abt 100 rupees. After all, Which stock gives abt 10% dividend yield- and it is tax free.
Dear Andi, Yes you are correct. 184000 applicants will get 13 shares firm allotment. But here it subscribed only 2.67 times. My expectation is 70,000 or below applicants. Clear picture will know in Monday or Tuesday.
There is approx 90000 applications.. But one thing is certain that below 1 lakh and above 70000. Total application count also includes shareholders application.. So in retail category 25 lakh applications have came approx.. Rejection would be very high in both retail and sh category
HDFC AMC SHC ALLOTMENT WILL BE ON Proportionally BASIS.. SO WHEN YOU APPLY 169 (13*13 LOT ) ISSUE SUBSCRIBE 2.65 TIMES IN SHC SO YOU GIVE APPROXIMATE 65 ALLOTMENT, THER IS NO FUNDA OF MINIMUM APPLICATION PRIORITY. ONLY Proportionally BASIS
ALLOTMENT UNDER THE HDFC SHAREHOLDERS RESERVATION PORTION Bids received from Eligible HDFC Shareholders under the HDFC Shareholders Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price may be grouped together to determine the total demand under this category. The Allotment to all successful Eligible HDFC Shareholders shall be made at the Offer Price. If the aggregate demand in this category is less than or equal to the HDFC Shareholders Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price, full Allotment may be made to the HDFC Shareholders to the extent of their demand. In case the aggregate demand in this category is greater than the HDFC Shareholders Reservation Portion at or above the Offer Price, then the maximum number of Eligible HDFC Shareholders who can be Allotted the minimum Bid Lot will be computed by dividing the total number of Equity Shares available for Allotment to Eligible HDFC Shareholders by the minimum Bid Lot ("Maximum Eligible HDFC Shareholders Allottees"). The Allotment to the Eligible HDFC Shareholders will then be made in the following manner: (a) In the event the number of Eligible HDFC Shareholders who have submitted valid Bids in the Offer is equal to or less than the Maximum Eligible HDFC Shareholders Allottees, (i) all such Eligible HDFC Shareholders shall be Allotted the minimum Bid Lot; and (ii) the balance available Equity Shares, if any, remaining in the HDFC Shareholders Reservation Portion shall be Allotted on a proportionate basis to the Eligible HDFC Shareholders who have received Allotment as per (i) above for the balance demand of the Equity Shares Bid by them (i.e. who have Bid for more than the minimum Bid Lot). (b) In the event the number of Eligible HDFC Shareholders who have submitted valid Bids in the Offer is more than Maximum Eligible HDFC Shareholders Allottees, the Eligible HDFC Shareholders (in that category) who will then be Allotted minimum Bid Lot shall be determined on the basis of draw of lots.

Total offer is 24,00,000 shares minus 10,25,705 = 13,74,235 shares available for allotment to those who applied above 13 shares by proportionate basis. 3. Total number of shares received is 64,50,000 minus 10,25,705 = 54,24,235 shares to be allocated proportionately. 4. 54,24,235 divided by 13,74,235 = 3.9 times. 5. 169 shares applied category will be allotted 13 + 43 = 56 shares. 5. It may change due to technical rejection of some application.

This is the reason most investors apply through that bank which has tie-up with BSE . Subscription figures are usually heavy on BSE in RII in good IPOs.
- I made three applications, all technically correct in the RII section on 25th - No communication from BSE. - I made two applications , both technically correct in the SH section on 26th - No communication from BSE. - I made one application, technically correct in the SH section on 27th (around 11.30 AM) - I have received an SMS as well as a mail from BSE quoting the Bid ID.
All applications made through icicidirect
I read another message by KarnatakaGoa Grey in our discussion group that Money blocked = Successfully bid submitted. As usual, sufficient allocation of money was made in IPO section before applying. How does one know whether this money has been blocked ?
Just to add to my earlier message, order book page of IPO section in my icicidirect demat account shows all six orders as "Executed" clearly mentioning Transaction ID and Application No.
@Andi earlier I used Axisbank for IPO application which blocked my money immediately but in most of the IPO I didn't received confirmation from NSE but when I checked after allotment i was not Luck to get allotment except Godrejagro. this time I applied through SBI 5 diff Applications. and money also blocked instantly on first day even o got confirmation from BSE. on 2 nd I applied 1 application from Axisbank which submit bid on NsE for that particular application no confirmation recvd. but got application number and in status of bank on particular application it's showing application submitted in exchange and successfully accepted. on all recent IPO experience I'm saying Money Blocked = Successfully Bid/Application Submitted.
Axisbank - Operative Account - Inquiry on lien - you will see ur blocked amt. for sbi it's showing on my account summary. Lien balance. Also on IPO section of SBI bank. IPO History all my 5 application status showing success.
one more thing you can easily verify ur bid which submitted on BSE. with ur Application nos. And pan no. but on NSE most of the time in recent IPO there was no particular IPO name was mentioned in drop-down list.
NSE will add HDFC AMC symbol after listing.. hahahaha it's my personal experience I had in earlier IPO

@ Raja Ganesh Just checked twice thrice from both mobile and pc and also from different browsers. Not getting. May be updating from PAN 2 PAN.Each and every case may be different for NSE.
@KarnatakaGoa Grey. Learn to give respect to other's comments. If you know how to check you can ask assistance from others. It's updated by both BSE n NSE for all IPO's to check the application status.
In BSE u don't have to even login/sign up to check the status. https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx
However, as I has mentioned in 890.8, I could see my confirmation for one of the six forms I had submitted. The form submitted on 27th at 11.30 AM, while no information on the forms submitted on 25th and 26th.
Andi.. it's there in NSE section. I just checked. HDFC AMC. and @Raja Ganesh yaha respect ki baat kaha aayi . Last time b jab maine Amber IPO apply kiya tha that time also drop-down me symbol nhi tha.. so on that basis I said.. 2017 k jitne hit IPO the I applied and also kisi ka drop-down me symbol nhi tha. After closing date.. b4 listing.. I was new that time.. through IPO apply.. ASBA. so I was worried abt my bid.. but later on I got an idea if my money is blocked I don't need. To worry.. only on technical rejection I'll miss chance..

I have checked online application status at BSE website applied through Bank of Baroda ASBA online. I was surprised to see that there are two BID ID(48498688 & 48778597 dated 26 July 2018) generated for 1 lot application. But I have applied 1 time and 1 lot only. Amount was blocked successfully Rs 14300. I think my application will be rejected due to mistakes of bank of baroda. Bad Luck. Any comments please. Regards
@ Andi AS PER DRHP THERE IS NOT SHAREHOLDERS QUOTA IN OFS OF PNB MET LIFE.OTHER DATA ARE AS BELOW:- PNB MET=====ICICI PRU=====SBI LIFE=====HDFC ST EPS==========0.7========11.28=======11.5==========5.5 NAV=========5.34========47.96=======65.28========23.6 PE===========NA========35.78========57.37======89.39 RONW======14.11========24.36=======19.05=======25.83% ONE MORE FLOP INSURANCE OFS IN WAITING.....
For Critical Illness Insurance plans, they have very competitive premiums. Further their policies have persistency ratios (1 year & 3 year) in line with Max and HDFC.
Paritosh @ 872. I am surprised that as an employee of HDFC AMC, applying under employees quota you come to Chottorgarh for knowing how many shares will you be allotted. Are you really an employee who is such a dud? What is your role there?? If you are an employee, then the quality of HDFC AMC employees will certainly be a BIG question mark. I can understand if some manufacturing company employee asks such a silly question. But HDFC AMC employee, shameful.
Your comment to the question from Paritosh @ 881 was in very bad taste. You should be the one who should feel ashamed to be a participant of this forum where most of the people exchange wonderful communications.
If you consider yourself to be a great knowledgeable person, please answer,
A) How many applications are there in the share holder quota ? B) How many applications are there in the employees quota ?
Tomorrow morning by 9.30 AM everybody will know. Your so called caliber lies in answering now !!!
I am sure it is beyond your thought, imagination and intelligence.
@prakash, first of all he didn't mention that he is a HDFC AMC employee. For your kind information HDFC employees also allowed to apply under sharholder category. And HDFC employee need not to be known about all these facts.
And if you are not aware about it, you should clear your facts and not him.
@ Prakash Kundur - Certainly there is a better way of replying. AMC employee doesn't need to know about IPOs and allotments. Not everyone knows everything..
