Those who don't apply, their amount is blocked where those who have applied, their amount is not blocked.

I have not applied for this IPO but My saving account of icici has marked Lien of 28600.
How it is possible?
Even my broker icicidirect has confirmed that they have not blocked any amount but my bank icici saying that this lien has towards hdfc Ipo by icici demat account.
Pl guide me

Those who are saying I have not applied for IPO but my bank account has marked lien for HDFC AMC ipO guys plz don't make anyone fool..

Bcz when you / anyone apply IPO through his/her bank account online one should need to provide OTP for processing application.. without OTP it's not possible to apply.
So chill.. people are joking here (high probability. )

If you are applying online through icicidirect and your demat account is linked to your icici bank savings account, there is no necessity of OTP. One needs to allocate sufficient funds and just place your order. Order is not accepted without allocation of sufficient funds for secondary market transactions also.

Once applied you get a message "Under Process" in your order book and if it is working works, you get a confirmation within 2-3 hours about updation at the exchanges as "Executed". While applying itself you will get your "Transaction ID" and "Application No.". Pretty straight forward and simple process.

@andi. tq for correcting me or giving info. i have used SBI>>AXIS>>KOTAK they all ask OTP.

If you perform FA too, also consider NIFTY PE as on 30th July 2018 all time high of 28.12

@juju yes i do but I'm not expert in fundamental Analysis. Yes market is Trading at high PE valuations. To be honest and Frank. Whatever iam holding started booking profit. my target is to raise 70% cash at current level 11300--11400
Rest 30% I'll hold. bcz PE suggest
10--15 bottom zone
25--30 top zone as of now as history suggest.

You must know the boundaries but remember boundaries are meant to be broken


PE range expansion ho skata hai if NIFTY 50 earning Support in future.

I don't know abt other but I'm staying light as much as possible at current situation. If mkt stays abv 11500 for good enough time then I can think to take little risk.. but as per my Analysis I'm raising cash from holding.

I agree that market is Trading at very high P.E , One should trade with caution. But we also have two points consider :
P/E P/B Div. Yield
2008 Jan (Referring To marker crash starting) 28.-- 6.55 .83
2018 28.22 3.70 1.18

So although currently we have similar high P/E , but if we look into P/B Div. Yield I thing there is a scope of market to go ahead. Correct me if these two factors are worth to consider.
