Sameer. Open at least 5 Dmat account in different members if your family. Apply in all the account. You will get allotmen in one or two account depending on oversubscription.

Sir if you have been affected it could be because someone has misused your account. Request u to kindly contact higher authorities of your bank

First login to your icici bank than go to invest on line. than go to invest in ipo fill the grid numbers a new page will open. there you can see the ipo applied and than if there is any ipo applied you will get the number and other details

As I understand in ICICI BANK and icicidirect.com only the PAN of first account holder is used for IPO application. In bank option to change Dmat a/c detail is available but in icicidirect even Dmat account can not be changed. Hence your money will be unblocked after allotment. How it is blocked is definitely a mystery for which contact the branch.

This blocking amount occurred in your case due to 2 reasons:
1. Someone given wrong account number on offline ASBA (it's my personal experience that Icici bank executive is not checking / matching sign especially for ASBA application)
2. Icici bank executive typed wrong account number for ASBA. (Someone else is applied for his account)

At the time of allocation , your pan card number (registered with icici bank) and registered pan card number against given DP account account matched.
In above both cases, your application is rej7 and amount will be unblocked.
So don't worry, your amount will get unblocked after allocotment.

Thank you sunsan, I have followed this procedure, it landed to my icicidirect page and showing No history for IPO applied.

Thats why i am surprised that how can it happen.

1st thing you have to verify, is your amount used for your applications or others. if your amount used for others applications, can think for the recovery and also do investigation on how they are able to do. if the amount is blocked then check with any of your family members has done on behalf of you... As I do apply on behalf of my Spouse.
And if you think your details like password and other details shared either you directly shared or indirectly from the browser cache. need to reset and be safe.

You may check status of your application on -bse.com giving your application and Pan no.

Thank you guys for your suggestion. I have done enough complaints by email to my Bank ICICI, my demat ICICIDIrect and Registrar Karvy.

Lets see what happen next.

I will post here as a outcome.

I have received reply from Karvy that No IPO was applied from my PAN Number.

इस से आपको पता लग जायेगा lien क्यों हुआ। अगर आपकी ही ब्रांच से lien हुआ होगा तो डेफिनेटली पता चल जाएगा।

I went to branch but they asked me to check with ICICDirect team.
I went to icicidirect they confirmed that no IPO was applied and they did not put lien.
Then Icici people asked me to contact karvy with my PAN Number.
I confirmed with Karvy the informed me that no IPO was applied against my PAN Number.

Surprisingly after all of this, still ICICI Bank is not registering my complaint.

You are 100% right.
Let me narrate you my case this time in this IPO.
My bank is central bank and bank takes the service of TCS for net banking.
When I was applying online , the bank ask to select the account for lien mark.I was surprised when I clicked the drop-down menu there appears 5-6 account numbers and none of them were mine.I again refresh to see whether my account number displays or not.After refreshing I found my one and only account number.

So ultimately in your case somebody willingly choose your account number while applying online to take the advantage of this kind of LOOPHOLES in the banking system like PNB-MODI case.

So here I suggest you to make your account balance ZERO at any cost today only.

Such irregularities happen when banks update their SOFTWARE at midnight.One more case happened with me in CORPORATION bank while bank changed the account number of all customers last year.I have to bear with loss of saving interest and finally I have to close my account desperately.

I pray that fraudster should not be alloted.
