@ Reputed members / Experts @: Decided to apply as sHNI for the first time.
Using SBI ASBA, Please confirm if the following should be entered for minimum sHNI application: Individual | Don't tick cutoff, put price bid : ₹330 qty: 630 Total : ₹207,900
I would like to invest around 2.5L in the IPO. and from other messages in the forum, i could see that number of applications for sHNI has been relatively less compared to retail. So, to increase my chances of allottment, I would like to apply as a sHNI. How do I apply as an sHNI on zerodha? i only see 'individual investor' option there. so, can i just apply for 15 lots(15x45=675 shares)?
There are more chances in retail if you apply with the same capital from different accounts. If you wish to apply in shni category from zerodha, apply as individual investor by selecting 14 lots i.e 630 shares -minimum is 14 lots and if the payment mode is UPI-should be less than 5L which in your case is 2.5L.so,there wont be any problem. or if you have net banking facility in sbi, axis, icici etc apply through ASBA from there by adding the demat acc details then you can easily block the amount through it.
i don’t have an account with 3 of the banks you mentioned. can i do it with HDFC? do i need to have an HDFC Securities account? or can i use zerodha account on HDFC net banking to apply as a retail investor.
also, what is ASBA? can you point to an article/video explaining the same please?
There are two ways in which funds can blocked one is UPI id and other is ASBA. ASBA is a facility provided by banks to block the funds for applying the IPO where as in UPI you can block the funds up to 5L only. There is no requirement of having the same HDFC securities account while applying, you can apply with different brokers demat account. You can use ASBA facility with Zerodha acc also in your HDFC net banking. For that you need to go login to your HDFC net banking,go through the requests then IPO application and fill your zerodha demat account details.
@not a trader sir Mera 1 demat account zerodha me h aur me 1 bhni zerodha k through apply krna chahta hu..lekin hdfc asba net banking me me investor type me retail clinet likha aa rha hai..or hni choose krne ka koi option hai nh..toh me bid me 3060 (45 share * 68 lot) shares daal k apply kr skta hu Plz help sir
@Admin Sir Request you to please clarify one issue. At Chittorgarh sie there is an alert message stating that Banks in India no more offer 3rd party ASBA application starting from 01 May 2022. It is bit ambiguous as SBI, Axis etc allowing 3rd party ASBA application. Or is it like this that even if you have applied or banks have allotment, still it will get rejected. Please clarify.
Hi Patel, the minimum allotment for BHNI is 14 lots but for SHNI it will be 1 lot only even we apply for 14 lots.? So the total lucky winners should be 26628(1902*14) and for BHNI is 1902 as minimum allotment 14 lots...Please correct earlier i used to get only one lot when applied for HNI when subscription is over subscribed.....
Any inputs of minimum allotment of SHNI and BHNI?

Yup u can .....u can apply as many as u want ..... But question is, is that valid .... No it's not .... Only one application per PAN ( exception for employee category)
Yup bro right .... Both will get rejected.... There r one or two instances where people have got the allotemnt even after making multiple application on same pan but that's just a mistake and abberation.... Just one application per PAN is valid
