GLS is fundamentally good, but lost interest of investors due to consistent fall. Will take some good qtrs and risky bets to cross 500

No doubt GLS is fundamentally good, but why the share price has come down from 720(IPO Price) to below 400. Even GPL is not going well. There should always be reasons behind this great fall. A fundamentally strong Group and such a disaster.

My neighbour works in R&D department of GLP
And he warned me about the GLS IPO. As gls is split from glp and nothing innovative going on right now. The company was riding the covid wave. Me being a naive investor still applied for gls in IPO .. suffered loss by averaging.
Now it's fundamentally good to hold, But plenty of fish in the sea. What to choose what to ignore.

Upstox was online around 9:55, Sold Harsha in panic with average of 455, very much happy with the return, but i faced delay in order execution, put order on 450 or 455 got sold at 439. It takes time while executing order. Never faced such issue in zerodha.

You might have placed a market order. If you are expecting a selling price put the limit order , so that it will execute at that price or more than that.

@Ravu, yes I placed market order, but it took loading time to execute, in zerodha I never faced such issue.

@mojojojo....never go for a whole number when placing order in pre-open
A lot of people just go for a whole number like 450...u should have placed order at 449.95 while selling
Or 450.05 while buying...this gives you and edge over other people placing order at similiar prices.
Works 90% of the time...i use such tactics while I'm buying or selling in intraday trade.

You are absolutely correct. For sell order I always place order between 50 paise to 90 paise. Not the full rupee. The orders are sometimes not executed when it is in full rupee for just 10 - 20 paise.

@Monster, i always place order on preopen only, but today this stupid broker was not working, upstox, and i am not comfortable with upstox user interface aslo. So was in panicked. My reason is for applying in IPO is clear. Within 5 mins of opening I will sell everything for sure and book the profit. After that stock can reach new heights or can go low, doesn't matter to me.

Preopen 340 +160=500. now total 500 @448 average

I also added 2k at opening, will hold them with my allotted 1BHNI.

However I sold my alloted at average price of 473.. would like to hold it bit longer but needs money for other IPOs too :).

It reached quickly to my target so exited at @518 will enter again if it will be available at around 450

Thanks Noorul for posting on behalf of @MRavi Sir. I was expecting him to add some because of lower listing and he didn't allotted in this one.

Once the bad news of 50 basis point hike by RBI is out, markets may give a dead cap bounce. The dollar rate @ 82 is not at all good for India and is adding to inflation pressures. If it cools down, we should be ok.
Regarding Harsha, it is in high demand and may hit UC in 2nd half today.

Shall cross 500 very shortly. Will hit UC today it seems.

500 crossed. So, be ready for the UC for the day. The merry party to go on tomorrow also.

Last three IPOs : Syrma, Dreamfolks and today Harsha have one thing in common.
Listed at lower than GMP and closed higher.
Listed at higher than GMP closed lower.
To take note of this in future. Not necessary it will follow always.

The business fundamentals and prospects of Harsha are far better than that of Dreamfolks (first mover/ fancied/ monopoly stock) and Syrma. So, I think Harsha should do well, follow the Aether way. I go by my study as well as conviction. Let us see what happens.

Actually I will be an accumulator if the Harsha goes down and gives me further opportunity.

Please do not link Dow with Harsha. Actually, people try to give some reasons for the fall. Ya, overheated stock can fall, but not all. You cannot paint everything with the same brush. But, mind it hat dollar is @ 82, but pound has fallen to 87. Crude oil is at a low of under 85 dollars per barrel.
If you do not buy Harsha @ these prices, you shall be sucked into buying @ far higher price. Still if you are not sure, hope for some consolidation in the stock in next 2-3 days.

For a listing...it is always good to buy at lowest p/e possible..
Since GMP was down should have placed orders in pre-open ..
Remember when selling pressure is there place orders @3-5% lower than opening price. You'll get the best profits.
U may see 520 again tommorow, but u think if dow falls today in the evening. We may not see 500 again for a while.
Harsha will not cross 50 p/e until market shows some rebound. 17300 will do the trick.

yes i am guilty of fomo @monster i know it is stupid, i do not know what else to say, i am hoping dow shows some reversal if it breaks 29000 level it is going to be a massacre, also do you think harsha will cross 520 before diwali?

I picked up Dreamfolks @ 382 and eMudhra @ 292

Added dreamfolks 205 shares...at 366.05...avg now just 386.
