Understand the basis of allotment for IPO for HNI. Just putting several lots will not get allotment nor in any Lottery. Hence, try your luck with just a lot in Retail. Don't waste your interest on the application money.
1) To Qualify for a single allotment, one has to cross at least 50% (preferably 55%) of the Over Subscription Rate to get one allotment, provided there are no other applicants in that category. For example, if OSR ends at 700, one should put at least 350 Lots.
2) Again, after putting in more than 50%, it will be a lottery draw among the applicants if there is more than one applicant in the same category. Anything less than 50 % applied will be Zero allotment. Hence, the applicant has to estimate the OSR and ensure that the application is for more than 50% Lots.
Usually, I apply it and around 500 Lots for any IPOS, and now, in the case of both Rulka and Hariom, OSR will be in the region of 1200-1500. So, for sure, I will not get an allotment.
Hence, I am looking for someone to join me in my category so that either will get on a lottery basis.
Anyone knows, what is the record of over subscription, only in ratio times? This is a small issue, so would not ask for volume, but at least, how many times over subscription record is there for any SME or Mainboard?
Thanks, Kay Cee I already knew to cross 1000 times first time, but I did not know if any IPO historically have cleared anything above then that?
Great, I think the kind of HOAC is setting, it will become difficult for upcoming issues to break it easily. A very small issue, with good fundamentals, not many other options are there right now to subscribe (except Rulka) have benefitted this issue into bumper subscription numbers

Anyone putting 382 lots, at least putting jointly, we can try on the lottery for either. Else if anyone has put little less than 382, let me know. For sure at this lot single application will not get allotment
