@Admin @ Chittorgarh.com  pls correct subscription data.. in calculation of QIB subscription, anchor portion also included but in essen, anchor is excluded.. 
ideally QIB oversubscribed in greenchef by 42.69 times (after excluding anchor) as compared to essen 45.26
Thus Overall subscription in greenchef is 64.15 times as compared to essen 71.03..
Data published by you here (QIB 17, overall subs 44) is wrongly calculated and misguiding people.. 
greenchef and essen both have received nearly same amount of subscription.. 

But catch is green has small free float as compared to essen.. hence chances of higher listing gain is much higher in green compared to essen

For 1 application of 35 lots - 0% allotment chance
For 2 applications of 35 lots - 50% allotment chance
For 3applications of 35 lots - 33% allotment chance...

There would be 10+ applications in 35 lots category. Chances will be 1/5.

After touching a low of 41,
GMP again 48

i have applied. financials are not great but product breadth and depth are decent. HEM seems to be main reason for this frenzy. lets see. will publish my review later on as i will focus on Ideaforge and Cyient first

Your question should be, has anyone got allotment in SMEs for IPOs having 10x or more overall subscription.

Which is the safe bet among these two - Greenchef Appliances or Essen Speciality Films ? As I can have money to apply any one.

Allotment chances are higher in Green. Grey market of Green is higher than Essen, but if you want to play safe then Essen, as allotment chances are scarce😉😉

Both are safe as both will list positively. I would prefer Green.

Can I apply IPO from my father's bank account using ASBA facility? For my demat account?

@patel nilay bank account and demat account has to be in the name of same person , anything else is considered 3rd party , doesn't matter whatever is the way of applying.

@patel nilay  By applying 3rd party, you are not doing something 'illegal' but your application will be rejected as this will be against the rules. In an undersubscribed IPO, you may get allotment but not here as this one is oversubscribed.
