good morning my dear and fellow members, since we know ipo party is on a break for a while , i request everyone here to suggest the breakdown they do or will do of their capital between mutual funds , direct equities and how much capital reserved for IPOs,.
Also , it'd be great if experienced market members from long time in this game of patience share their way of picking up mutual funds (for both short and long term, like quant and large caps), also what MFs can be bought this year for next 1 , 3 , 5 , 10 years..... happy new year to everyone and thank you all. wishing everyone an year full of allotments ahead....

My whatever small MF holdings are there date back to 10-15 yrs when I was salaried. So only ELSS from tax saving perspective. Value wise, it is about 1% of my portfolio value.
About 3% in SGB.

Balance 95%+ is in direct equities.
My net capital (adjusting for significant dividends i.e. > 3.5% p.a. of cost) involved in direct equities stands approx around 40% of my investable corpus. Balance 60% is utilised for IPOs and emergency if any, and also enjoys Kotak Activmoney sweep facility above certain threshold level.

Apart from this, there are some health insurances, term insurances, ULIPs and investment plans, again mostly invested in equities or balanced funds tilting towards equities.

Everything above is at family level, family of 4 adults.

I have not considered FDs under parents' names, as I consider them strictly out of bounds.

If you are a retail investor aspiring to make a killing in SME IPOs, do give the red herring prospectus a cursory read. That should give an idea of whether you stand a realistic chance of making a decent profit. One Delhi-based SME which recently went public, had mentioned in the prospectus that a part of the IPO proceeds would be used to repay the outstanding on the home loan of one of the promoters.

Good information. Let us hope that we suffered minimum loss. No hope of Profit. This time, half of the money gone. Some consolation if we could sale around 90 in a month or two.

I think LM "First Overseas Capital Limited " is answerable for this steep fall.

In last two years, I suffered extreme bad luck and did not receive a single IPO. Now my luck wants to do something more special with me so I got alottment of Graphisads. It fell at Rs 86 due to back to back circuits. I tried to sell but no buyers. What to do ?? I am really frustrated

Two bulk deals happened yesterday one person bought 3.10 lakh and other bought 1.20 lakh shares. Just talked to Co. Official and asked him to publish results of march-sept period.
Secondly told him to question the lead manager for poor handling of the listing.

All the retail investor are now stuck

Today trading is like 1 lot only per hour.

Difficult to get out of this now, it is 2nd cellpoint. Looks like circuit will open near 60.

Hope I am wrong. 🙏

This will perform good,results are awaited.i expect this will surpass 150 levels in few days.

@Ipoaspire, u r right sir, if this comes around 70 I will add one lot as I did in cosmic Crf and brought down my average to 250 and now see cosmic @405

ALLOTTED ONE LOT AFTER A YEAR , BEST OF LUCH WHO HAVE ALLOTTED, I HOLDING IT FOR A LONGTERM INVESTMENT ,

i dont think so based on your calculation because i applied 2 lot alloted 1 lot @ below 58 no. subbiah not alloted on HNI if like that me & subbiah we will be alloted full HNI allotment.

Allotees has got the debit message, email and also shares credited in demat today and even BOA is also uploaded. Looks like Kfintech has forgotten to upload allotment at their site.

Anyone here not alloted whose funds are unblocked ?

The allotment is not provided by the registrar online. Thats the reason its not added.
