I didnt understood this. somebody please explain. http://www.bseindia.com/markets/publicIssues/BSEDemandSchedule_new.aspx?Scripcode=3512 here it shows that almost 10% people applied below cut off, right? What is the use? It is clearly oversubscription. Will we get allocation below cut off? Or whether my understanding is wrong? Thanks
lets take an example. if all QIB''S and NII''s bid @450 and all retail investors applied for cutoff expect one guy who bid 10 lots @460. The cut off price is calculated based on the price bids so the cutoff price in this case will be 450 rupees. if retail subscription is more than 10 times, then the retail guy who submitted the application with price bid @460 will definitely gets all 10 lots where as the other retailers have the probability of allotment in the ratio 1:10.

Most of the Retail people (99%) will apply IPOs at Upper Rate or else Cutoff price only. Upper Price and Cutoff price both are same. While applying some people will mention upper Price and some people will select cutoff.
Okay, I thought that, the "cut off" application includes everything that bidded at 460. Thanks.
Does that mean most of those who bidded at other that cut off in that list (10%) are placed at 460 itself...? :) I was wondering why they would bid lower than 460 when oversubbed. Thanks for insight...
You can place a bid at 460 (maximum price) without checking on the cut-off checkbox. Which still remains the bid at maximum price and that could be one reason.

@neha: you have applied two times by mistake, so your both application will be rejected...you won''t get any lot, so just delete or cancel the second application of one lot if possible....
Why people in every forum ask repetitve question again and again.. even they know answer of there question inspite of it they put uselesss question again and again..People requested to ask question only after reading all messages posted earlier on any forum..

Hello Experts I need your help here, While applying for this IPO using Kotak Security. I am getting a message that ASBA facility is not available for your NRE/NRO account. Can you let me know if NRI not allowed for this IPO? Just for your information. I applied in last IPO (Pratap) from same account and got the allotment. Wondering why its not working for this IPO? Any clue?
Company chahti hai ki jo public india main rehti hai wo money earn kare is ipo se...... Aap to waise he india se bahar hai n earning money thats why company n bank is not allowing......
For this particular IPO you can not apply on a repatriable basis . I am also an NRI and was very keen to invest in this IPO . You can apply for up coming IPOs of MAS and GIC on a repatriable basis .
