Can we apply IPO with UPI mandate via Linked FD in Au & Indusind Bank? I am not talking about their Bank Asba.

Or if you haven't checked it then pls tell this.
Can you please check your balance via any UPI app like phonepe & confirm ? Is it showing Savings+Linked FD balance or Only Savings Account Balance while checking from any UPI app for AU & Indusind bank?

Interest rate in AU is same as normal FD or little less?

Linked FD essentially integrates FD balance with Savings, so whichever mode you choose, the combined balance is visible, be it UPI or ASBA.​@BIGGYBULL

No linked fd in hdfc doesn’t work for ipo. I use icici and kotak for linked fd ipo

​@MuStrFc I just said in the context of Mainboard IPOs. 1 account se 1 hi BHNI lagegi to 10 Lakh se jyada ki FD karane par baaki paisa bhi block ho jaayega.
But again, more the amount of FD then it is beneficial in case of SME IPOs.

Add more to that mix, like joint accounts, multiple IPOs at once, untimely unblock, third party UPI applications using linked FD balance which many still do etc. That's another way to benefit out of it @Anuwak

aur 3rd party upi ki risk 15k ki application me li ja sakti hai.. baaki nahi..
& vaise bhi 10L wali application to ASBA se hi lagegi..
& sir, mere Dadaji-Dadiji ki FD hai to unko disturb nahi kar sakta meri thodi si convenience & profit ke liye. Although he understands stock market well but he is 85+ so maine FD ke against OD le rakhi hai.. to easy rehti hai calculations.

​@MuStrFc I have used both Icici & kotak.
It is beneficial to apply via UPI after 4 PM ipo subscription data in case of retail applications only.
In Icici we can apply ipo from MMfd via UPI as both MMFd+savings bal is showing when I check bal from any UPI app.
But in kotak we cannot apply ipo via uip through linked fd & kotak shows only savings bal when I check account bal via UPI app. But kotak shows Linked FD+Savings while applying via ASBA. Strange Kotak.
So I wanted to confirm for other banks like Yes Bank , Au bank , IndusInd bank etc.
For yes bank one member confirmed UPI+Linked FD works.
Don't know about aubank, IndusInd bank if UPI+linked fd works!

​@Vimal Garodia @Mustafa k @Chhote Lal I have tried to open minor account in AU bank but they said that I can't get debit card for minor below 8 years. My question is if i won't have debit card then how will i accept UPI request?

​@CA Saurabh Bansal I do not have any experience in minor Ac opening, but, i do not think we need debit card for setting up of UPI..

​@Vimal Garodia  As per my knowledge, last 4 digit of debit card is needed when we are setting up the UPI pin.

You can create UPI account on minor account, it doesn't require debit card.
We have saving account with Kotak Mahindra Bank so opened minor account for my kid in Kotak Mahindra Bank, they didn't offer debit card for minor account. I have added minor account in Google Pay accounts and created UPI without any issue since minor account was linked my mobile number.

​@Pratham savaliya I have not set up UPI in a long time but i think there is another option based on AADHAR number for setting up UPI..

Yes, applying IPO on minor account using UPI. Got allotments as well, no issues with selling on prostocks minor demat account. We have to show the minor income under our income while filing returns.

i want to use Axis bank, is there any option in saving Linked Sweep in FD in Axis bank ?

​@BIGGYBULL AU is like any other big Private bank. Everything works and you get some bells & whistles compared to another banks like high interest rate on fd and free txns
