It takes time for the mandate to arrive, sometimes even few hours.
Always apply early in the morning or even better a day before the IPO closes.
Yesterday was the last day..so if you did not accept mandate before 5 PM on last day then your application is not valid/complete. Sorry try next time a bit early..🙏🙏

​@ArvKaush I use ICICI minor bank account with zerodha minor demat account.
Parents should have account in zerodha, to open a minor one.

​@ArvKaush I have groww also, but it has limitations in SME (only NSE listed can be applied), I did not take it further for minor.

​@sunil surat I am doing secondary purchase too in minor account... I am using hdfc bank and prostocks combo only ... it is allowing preopen selling also ... I find it good combination for minors ...

Prostocks. I am using it for my daughter since 2020. Buy/Sell is allowed in minor account.

Pan and aadhaar of minor and gaurdian. And bank cheque or bank statement of minor account. 1000 refundable deposit. Not sure whether it is refundable as I am still using account. Anyone else can share his view whether prostocks returns this amount once account is closed.

Now I am hearing that prostocks pressuring to open adult account also with minor account.

I have kotak minor + prostocks minor account. You’ll need to open guardian account first for prostocks minor account. Also you have to manually add minor dp id in kotak asba which only specific branches of kotak does in local city.

I have salary account with kotak, and bank saying open minor account there and it became a family account type. Is it ok? I mentioned to them minor account must have pan of minor mention there.

This has become the industry standard, mainly because the minor account doesn't generate revenue for brokers as trading is done with free deliveries and there is very little activity on this account.

​@ArvKaush no need to send documents via courier. I have 2 minor prostocks account. Both accounts were opened completely online but guardian must have separate account with prostocks and Rs 1000 security deposit for each account.

​@ArvKaush May be they used to ask for courier before and website is not updated. I opened the account 2 months back and did not send any documents via courier. You can call their customer care no. +91 22-62434343 and check about it.

​@CA Saurabh Bansal I have debit card for minor in ICICI. But I use ASBA only, because minor below the age of 15 years is not eligible for UPI as per RBI

When I do ASBA for my minor child ICICI Account, it shows my PAN only. I have asked for branch to check but they are also saying PAN updated is yours only

I have infact given my child PAN while opening a/c. Even branch is not able to change the PAN

Can you please guide how did you get the PAN updated, since I am also ICICI (non branch) emp, I am sure bank a/c op by default will happen on major's PAN only. So need to get it changed but branch is helpless.

Or if you can just tell which branch or emp did the same, I can get to the branch directly and get the process internally

​@IPO ki Kamai Once the account is opened, it will show your PAN, next day itself I went to branch, fill the form to change pan and ask them to update the Minor pan, which they did in 1 day.
Most of them might not know the process. my location is bangalore.. not sure..branch name will help.. just talk with relationship manager or branch manager, tell its possible in minor account..they should do.
