Gland Pharma is very expensive - in fact one of the highest even greater than established, reputed players like Abbot, Glaxo, etc. Very very greedy pricing! Nothing left for investors for the next 4 or 5 years! I would strongly recommend stay away!

I respect all sentiments. Not to sound contra but to bring in some rationale, Is nt Indian government allowed this company to function in India, SEBI gave permission after checking everything, Anchor investor include Government of Singapore, Nomura, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, SBI Mutual Fund and Axis Mutual Fund. You see government owned SBI and partial stake also in Axis, and these institutes still investing. All most all pharma companies are doing better in results looks will do so in future as well.
IPO gains or loss all depends on demand. Fundamentals are good, it is costly though. Of course whenever there are tensions these companies will be vilified as sentiments soar. So make your decision based facts in hand, but not on sentiments. Sentiments are temporary (see Titan), fundamental matters in long run.

He was holding. Enforcement Director has got those share transferred in their name more than 10 years ago. SEBI gave special exemption to ED for lock in of these shares
From ongoing negative sentiments, it seems that retail investors quota will be undersubscribed. It will be interesting to see, what will be the subscription figure of QIB/NII on 11 Nov at 1.30PM..
There will be a lot of learnings from this IPO.

My read is minimum 5 time QIB. Rest is very difficult to predict today.
In negative sentiments IPO, HNI subscription remain poor. Angel, UTI, equitas are recent examples. And another fact, poor HNI subscription results in negative listing. Moreover HNI lost money in Mazagon dock ipo.

I will be applying for 14 lots. Thus going into HNI category. Better than applying 5 single lots. Dont see risk. Will wait for price trigger of half yearly result. Expected soon post listing
Arun Sir Why are you not applying for 13 lots and get 100% allotment? Retail investors are staying away from this IPO and retail portion size is huge enough. It seems it is going to be undersubscribed.
Please note, I have not made my mind yet whether to apply or not. I will take my call at 1.30 PM on 11 Nov

For following reasons. Say 10 lakh applications apply on an average 1.5 lot. Which means issue is one time subscribed in amount. But allotment process will be First give 1 lot to all applicant. And then only give residual shares on basis of pro rata applications which means 67% of issue is already alloted secondly it is looking like that HNI may not subscribe so then you get full allotment. Easier to figure out HNI number as in any issue HNI number is not more than 5000 as opposed to take guess on retail number as retail time keeps on getting extended
So GMP not even 2%, definitely it's going to be flat listing. In recent IPOs especially Angel, UTI etc HNI subscription was very low due to flat GMP. Let us see HNI subscription in this IPO.
