I believe that many people here are confused that why they have been not allotted shares at lower price applied by them even if RII portion is not fully subsribed. The answer to this query lies in the rule that 1)Shares are allotted to all the categories at same price except in the case of discount where Shares are allotted at discounted price to specified category (here retail) 2)That price is selected at which highest number of bid is received (In this case it is 912) 3) So whoever applied at 912, Only to them shares will be allotted irrespective of the fact that whether the retail portion is undersubscribed or fully subsribed.
Conclusion: If you applied at cutoff price, only then you will be allotted shares despite of the fact that retail portion is undersubscribed.
Learn the procedure how to apply. Sit with ur broker or read and then apply. Otherwise u will wonder why i am not alloted shares even retail part of the issue is not subscrobed fully.
i applied through online and lower price was Rs.855 so i applied @ Rs. 855 and Rs. 45 was discount given. So my net amount was blocked Rs. 810 per share. And you know Retail not fully suscriber pls check as below Number of Times Subscribed (BSE + NSE) As on Date & Time QIB NII RII Employee Total Shares Offered / Reserved 62,277,900 18,683,371 43,594,532 144,197 124,700,000 Day 1 - Oct 11, 2017 17:00 IST 1.5500 0.0100 0.0600 0.1300 0.8000 Day 2 - Oct 12, 2017 17:00 IST 1.6800 0.0200 0.1600 0.4200 0.9000 Day 3 - Oct 13, 2017 20:50 IST 2.2500 0.2200 0.6300 0.9400 1.3800
For HDFC user : Go to IPO order book and find the amount have paid or not , if your amount is paid in order box that means you got allotment otherwise vice versa..
Amit....In HDFCSEC in IPO Order Book there is Pay Amount column which shows 27744 and Application Amt column which shows 29184/-...there is no column like Paid Amount....where exactly is that paid amt box which u and vikas are referrring u?
Amit bhai i think u r wrong, Pay amt doesnt means u got allotment as pay amount indicates that u have paid amt for ipo that means its on hold ans as soon as hold removed it will show 0, CONCLUSION :- If amt is still on hold thats y it shows pay amt and by tommorrow if hold is removed then it will show 0....
Has the debit amt refleted in ur statement or are u referring to blocked amt....My acct is with HDFC ...Amt is blocked but there is no amount debited to my account.....pls guide
But it was like that right from day1..... donot think that is paid amount...that may be blocked money...because i have not got any sms from hdfc or karvy or any debit amt in account
Dear MKB If I had such precise information I will not be coming to chittorgarh website,I would be starting a consultancy instead. And Great Gamblers dont go by logic and analysis. My gut feeling is it might go below the IPO price. The company is a very good profit making concern but there is a huge floating share, appx 80 crore shares which will not allow the price to go up.

Don''t worry if you have applied at cut off price...you will definitely get allotment...just wait....HDFC bank still has not debited amount from anyone
I have applied for 224 shares at cutoff price via physical application to IDBI Bank. Later a day i got this msg from Bank which I noticed carefully today : "Your IDBI A/C No XXX92842 has been lien marked for Rs.184128/- towards IPO issue of GICRE. App No: xxxxxxx6012 Bid Id: xxxxxx720." If I backward calculate, I seems that bank has wrongly applied at 867 (ie. 912-45) less 45. Net price 822. I will not get allotment. To whom I could approach for quick resolution. Bank and registrar are not likely to show interest. Do we have some other route. I know SEBI is there but do they act in timely manner?
its human error. employee did the mistake. bank is only responsible for that. complain through email giving the name of employee, branch code, reference no./bid id/ application no. attachment.
Don’t worry..same is the case with me in Axis bank..you will have your shares likely to be credited in your demat account by eod on 23rd October..you will find the same in your DP balance on 24th October..
Yor are right dear, Amount was debited from your account after allotment finalisation, but share will be credited to your account after 23 Oct-2017, There is no reason to worry.
I don''t think this government will get into price manipulation of GIC share! If this ipo doesn''t get proper listing, then GOI will make the upcoming IPOs more attractive. One important point, according to me, Most of the people who applied in the retail category are actually NNIs! They applied full rs 2 lakh quota and multiple application to get the retail discount. Please check NNI subscription numbers. Not many "Actual retail investors" participated in this ipo. It''s my opinion.
