Got a question, everyone is saying Rs.45 discount on 912. So bank debited 867 per share. And listing price is also 867. So how is that a discounted price? We paid exactly what it is sold at. Someone, please clear this silly doubt of mine

GIC will stabilize at around 635 -650 per share.
Expect upward movement only after that - perhaps after 2nd quarter of next year.

All my analysis is short to medium term. It may list at -25 as is being said but over medium term it is to decline. A better strategy may be to exit at nominal profits and re-enter at lower levels?

GIC will list in green colour i.e. positive and in long run it will be new flavour for fund managers. Banking is now old thought of school Investing is new thought. GIC is best stable reinsurance company with too many verticals to work with.

There can be a case that QIB & NII purposely did not apply when issue was open because their funds will be blocked for 10 days, hence saving in interest. They already knew GMP (25) so they might have thought why not simply buy on listing day.

If this is the case then some buying interest from them will be seen around 900/890
