Messed up the fund usage I guess, deployed almost 3.88 Cr in total (Ganesh & Effwa) only to get nill allotment. Didn't want to do high value transfers into a single account.

I applied retail in Effwa and went FF in GG, but at end of day its all luck which will average out. Wasnt getting any SME in June, but this has offset everything 🙇‍♂️

Probably best scenario for you is to consolidate into 1 account, and keep money for retail in other accounts. Transfer for Mainboard BHNI only as and when needed. Make sure you get 1 SME lot for every IPO you apply (250-320 lot odd size app) without luck.

300 odd lots are not really sufficient in most of the cases these days, so even there it will be a lottery.
I want to avoid the bHNI amount transfers due to which I have parked funds in multiple accounts (to avoid harrasement from the bank side due to frequent transfers).
Yeah, but I agree it was sheer mismanagement of funds due to which I lost the sureshot allotment (with the overall amount deployed).
Anyways - no complaints had been amazing two weeks with allotments in Durlax, Shivalik, Mason, Winny, Nephro, Allied (2 bHNI), Emcure(2bHNI), Bansal(2bHNI).
Luck had to run out eventually ...

I guess you too have flexi dep for your minor accounts, did you have to pull money out of it to apply here ?
Or went with midsized HNI applications from minor accounts ?

300 lots should be enough if you pick one IPO - most IPOs are hitting 500x and then slowing down because of overlapping issues. Plus size of issues are going up.

I made some changes recently - consolidated funds into 2 accounts split equally, and keeping small funds in other 3 accounts for retail. When MBs come, will do some transfers for BHNI apps. Might even consolidate everything into single account soon but that will involve lot of FD breakage.

Bro, you are aware that I've had a very torrid time when it comes to allotment prio to this run.
This allotment run just compensated for previous many many non-allotments I would say.
 
For a 100Cr+ IPO, 300 lots were barely sufficient even with a very good overlapping issue.
If no overlapping issue, it will surely not be sufficient looking at subscription trends.
I'm looking for some divestment from equity - was looking for an upgraded apartment but those have became crazily prized in Bangalore (I feel flats are having higher P/E than Solar SMEs 😛)

Arey nahi... My siblings (2 families) & I apply and share whatever we get proportionately.

Hey can you share your logic behind this kind of way to apply ipo?

If you have fund equivalent to 180 lot then why not applying like this way like

150 lot in 1 app and rest in other 17 application?

Why 10x18?

I also apply for mainboard (primarily).

Only to avoid fund transfer back and forth, we thought we will go with this approach (which defenitely is less effective compared to applying for 150 lot).
