No retail category works as a lottery system. Number of lots doesn''t matter. 1 application means very low chance of allotment when IPO has been subscribed more than 10 times. Even if you get allotment you will only get 1 lot. money for 12 lots will get refunded

Today as my SBI account not worked, I have applied for GRIL through UPI ASBA using my BOB account which was not registered with ZERODHA , after applying I noticed this and I added that account as secondary in ZERODHA now my application will be accepted / rejected ?

Experts please clarify

As long as the BOB account belongs to the same PAN as Zerodha account the application will be accepted.

Hi,
I have applied to this IPO under HNI category for the first time. I just want to make sure that the way I have applied is correct. I used HDFC ASBA to apply and have bid at 837 rupees for 255 shares (15 lots). To get allotment under HNI should I bid higher than 837 rupees, I read somewhere in this forum that for HNI the bid value has to be higher than cut-off. Can someone please confirm. Thanks in advance.

cancel and apply thro retail as better chance. apply hni only if you can block 15/20 lahs .

If it gets over subscribed by around 200 to 250 times as expected u need to block around 30 to 40 lakhs, in case if it subscribe above this u need even more money so better apply through Retail with multiple PAN for different demat with 1 lot only

Most probability of you getting allotment under HNI is 1 out of 100, if you want confirm allotment under HNI aplly for 200 lots.

Also no one can bid more than upper band of price.

you need to bid at 837 rs only, not higher.....in hni category....btw for such small application in hni, you wont get any allotment so cancel your bid and apply from retail category

Probability of getting via HNI is not 1/100.
HNI already applies for 14 lots least.
So, the probability gets multiplied by 14.
For 140x subscription, its (1/140)*14 = 1/14
You can increase probability by increasing money by say 5x i.e 10lakh, proability will be (1/14)/10

Vaise retail me hi benifit hai. Hni to mote paise walo ka kaam hai. Or ab bhi aap lottery system me aaoge or retail me bhi lottery to 2 lac lagane ka koi matlab nahi.

Or ha hni me lottery me preference jyada wale ko milti hai shayad
