Sharma ji, I submit that I am not an experienced one in this regard. I used to treat Aniket ji as my guru and pray for his advises regarding buyback. I have purchased some shares of Gandhi special tubes for the purpose of tendering in c/w buyback. The record date is yet to be announced. Please see the views of Aniket ji w.r.t. the query of Roxpatel ji mentioned above in this regard.

I am continuously observing that you are actively participating in share buy back offerings, So I thought you are the right person to provide some valuable guidance for a new entrant in buy back process like me. I am in the market from last 15 years, but always consistently my experiments in share market are proven disasters with huge losses, finally I completely quit the secondary market and applying only IPOs from last two years, but sadly due to highly increased demand in retail quota, I almost very rarely get the allotment in any good IPO (Raise in retail, many regulatory hurdles like third party ASBA, UPI etc.), even though trying with all family dmat accounts. Hence looking for any other safe alternative approaches like buy backs / offer for sale etc. My questions are; Can I able to make anything 3-4% profit safely (in highly conservative basis) at least in this share buy back process. I know it is too much to ask you, what is the success rate for you in the last one year buy backs. How many turned into profit / No Loss No gain / Negative returns (only number of buy backs asking, and not asking money figures). Your advise provide a new opportunity for many of us who actually not able to take high risk in volatile markets by limiting to the safe options.

RetailIPO Ji, at the outset, I am grateful for your kind consideration. I am bold enough to say that I am nothing before the knowledgeable n kind hearted IPO Gurus, Mentors, Contributors and other members. With my little knowledge acquired from the gems of the forum, I don’t hesitate to submit the following.

1. Please never compare with anyone.
2. Please don’t loose patience but continue to apply selective IPOs with positive attitude of allotment. Opportunities will be waiting for you.
3. Please don’t be over ambitious but contain yourself and accept what so ever you get.
4. Regarding buyback, please regularly follow the news of proposals regarding the result of announcements of meetings to consider the buy backs. Similar is the case with OFSs. In this context, I am very much grateful for my IPO Guru Sri Aniket ji for his valuable guidance from time to time, when prayed for. I am also thankful to CHITTOORGARH which has provided an opportunity in the form of kind hearted knowledgeable gems in the forum.
5. Except in two or three cases of meagre losses, buybacks n OFSs together have yielded me an annual average profit of not less than 10%. I am happy with this. Please don’t hesitate to seek the guidance of the kind hearted gems of the forum before going for.
Last but not the least is, please don’t always think of the past bad experiences but the gained experiences out of them may be used for the present n future occasions.
Once again I thank you very much for giving me an opportunity to share my experiences.

Yes I do agree with the Aniket Ji Views / recommendations and they are very helpful.. I am following this Chittorgarh web page from 2014 onwards but just as a passive viewer.. I remember the class leading gurus like Septa ji and Gamble ji and many more (kindly forgive me for not mentioning all names), so sad we are missing many of the previous gurus, now they are not active. Hope to see all gurus, mentors, contributors of all time, will become active in coming IPOs and discussions.
