Hi 396 Ovonel, U took the most pudent approch of applying a min lot. Because IPO is like a lottery & luck is the key. The issuers usually land up with an astounding oversubscription and refund the full amt without any allotment or a major part is refunded with a min allotment. With a min lot application, although u stand a lower chance (a very very poor chance) of allotment, u save a lot on calculated interest loss on the refund amt. Similarly, if ur luck gets u an allotment, ur rate of return is phenominal (provided the mkt loves to pay a higher or huge price on listing). Best of LUCK to u. SingS
Its better to make stop payments. 55 times means we will not recover interest also. Its better to divert the fund to make low-price purchase from secorndary market or wait for another better IPO.
I applied thru HDFC securities on 16th. But the money was debited on 17th afternoon (till that time it was shown as hold fund). Dont know if the application will be really accepted.
allotment for future capital will be 8 shares max for retial investors chances of allotment are very low even for full subscription quite similiar to bgr even less
