yes definately, if u go for a full application (i.e. max lots) then u have higher chances of allotement.....
but u applied for 8 lots, there r very few applications in 6, 9, 11 & 13. people applied for 8 lots are quite a big number as it is just below 50K, so quite a number of share holders go for it. the best way of applying an ipo is either go for full 16 lots (i.e. the maximum) or ask your broker to tell which lot is having minimum applications.
I have applied for 64 shares (8 lots) , what are chances of getting stocks considering its oversubscribed more than 100 times , whats procedure they apply when they allot shares ?
Is the one who applied for full (Rs 1Lac) got first preference ?
Nobody can give an approximation about chances of allotment simply based on no. of times it is oversubscribed. If anyboday knows subscription in each lot , then we can do some calculations.
Now let us see whether the registrar Intime Spectrum, do allotment in time, their website works or not when allotment is out and whether they do refunds without any complaints from retail investors.
I request Intime people to comr up with allotment within stipulated time. Maintain their websites bandwidth and more important refund money through ECS whereever ECS details available in applicant's Demat
As far as sharekhan is concerned, i have experienced that they do get the application number but they do not update the status of IPO and application number.
424. Rush Sorry to say, but looking at the subscription figures we cant say. Better you apply in the fold of 5. For example if the lot size is 8 go for 8 x 5 = 40 .. Better chances of allotment. With care Shoeb
I am facing problem with icici direct as my application status showing executed today but till yesterday it showed under process. Its true I am more worried about my refund then allotment.
