Even in 3 applications there is no allottment. If there is manipulation the price will definitely go up on listing.

FORTIS 99000/-KA APPL ME BHI ALLOTMENT NAHI DIA HAI.MY TOTAL APPL WAS 25 NOS I GOT ALLOTMENT IN ONLY 6.IS THERE ANY MANIPULATION IN THE ALLOTMENT IF SO THEN IT WILL LIST AROUND 150 & GO UPTO 230.

fortis will go up remember what happened to hanung toys which was priced at 95 rs ipo price and which allotted in pre ipo at price of 130 to different institution.
i made mistake of selling hanung toys at 105 and now it is at 136 similarly fortis priced at 108 will list at 115 and slowly in 1-2 weeks will move to 160-180 so beeter wait to get correct price before selling remember fortis has given i pre ipo to mckinsey at 157 rs so surely it will move above 160 in few weeks.

Fortis is a good company for long term but it will not list more than 115-120(ipo priced@108/-),it may go to discount for short term.buy fsl(first solutions),broadcast,rpl for 3 months.

Ram appears to be right. one thing is certain FII's are playing in the Indian Stock Markets. Unless and until the FIIs are kicked out of our stock markets, there cannot be any stability in the indian stock prices, and ordinary indian investors are taken for a ride.

We can't expect much gains on listing of Fortis shares. If anyone had seen the NSE site at 12.00 Noon on the closing date of the issue, they would have observed that FIIs withdrew large amounts of their bids on that day. It was another repeat of Cairn issue. Indian investors have to be cautious and may better book the profits on listing and later acquire the shares in secondary market if at all the price movements are attractive.

all those who applied for fortis congrats to all of them.This is an excellent stock and it has profits of above 40 crore if u take out acquistion of escorts out.I am sure this stock will rock and rise above 165 on 1 st day.excellent managed compnay will have lot of prmotores buying stock from open market.very few stocks available in hospitality sector.
people should cry who did not applied for it as similar thing would happened what happend to orbit and advanata

Forget FORTIS buy INDRAPRASTHA MEDICAL CORP ( APPOLO HOSPITAL DELHI) @ Rs 29/-, Current T/o Rs 240 Cr, and PE 13 even total Market Cap is only Rs 260 Cr. It is a Profit making Dividend paying Co. Even its parent Appollo Hosp was available at Rs 40/ five years ago and now quotes at Rs 500/-. FORTIS has a T/o of 400 Cr and M.CAP is 4 times i.e.
So Relax if FORTIS falls below its issue price just go for Appollo Delhi.
