​@Lucky Mohit holding shares that you got in IPO allotment doesnt always work. They may go to discount & never reach their listing price. for ex., Medplus listed @ 1100+ Vs Issue price of 796. in few days, it fell gradually & now @ 700. no one knows if it can ever reach its life time high. there are many such examples. we need to know which one to book profit & which one to hold which is difficult task than getting allotment :-)

Allotment is given by God.But greed is controlled by us. If I get 10 percent in non ipo normal investment I just sell it.but I get mostly retail allotment.So I am ready to bear loss for double or triple profit so planning to hold ipo allotment for long time.

​@ashish.jain Do you mean.that we have to apply odd lot. Then, 67 is itself odd lot only. Can you please explain the basis of selecting 73/77/79 lots. You have not recommended 75 lot?

if you give your opinion with some logic then it will be more useful to discuss.

Odd lots means unusual lots where less no of people apply. Factor of 5 lots are safe lots where more of people apply so less chances of not being selected in the lottery e.g. 75 lots but if more no of people will apply at it then allotment chances may decrease that's why saying for odd lots but sufficient no of people should apply at it to consider for lottery.

Here 2-3 lakhs more needed on above of BHNI application.

For better understanding check this BOA of BLSE ipo for BHNI category. Devide no of shares by 108 to get value in lots.

E.g. for 87 lots (9396) allotment ratio is 26:1 and for 69 lots it is 57:1 .
