I Always suggest to apply minimum required lots in SHNI as everything going in lottary so same chances for all.

It will be lottery for both cases.

Comparatively allotment chances are higher in Platinum compared to Exicom in BHNI.

But Profit will be highe in Exicom if alloted.

why upstox is not allowing SHNI through app/web.. saying "AMOUNT SHOULD BE LESS THAN 2 LAKHS"

AS i am applying is SHNI.. there is no option of category like ASBA.. only individual is there..
Any one uses Upstox and UPI ?

You cannot apply SHNI OR BHNI application through UPI because UPI has 2 lakh limit
For applying in HNI category apply through ASBA

@🎁 Just For IPO 🔔 upstox never allows the bid amount greater than 2 lakh, either for for ASBA or other brokers..

I always apply through bank ASBA. That is a more reliable option compared to UPI.

Yes.. @Vimal Garodia ji and all🙏 ..
I applied HNI using groww yesterday. First time i was using Upstox and UPI for HNI.. Upstox allow upto 2 Lakhs only..
I called CC they said as per SEBI guidelines we allow only upto 2L.
I jokingly warned to shift all my 5-6 acs to Zerodha just bcoz of this.. 😉

You can apply SHNI via UPI but not BHNI .

Received UPI mandate late.
Applied for Exicom at 11:30 AM, received it at 1:20 PM.
Mandate for platinum was received 5-10 minutes after applying.

SHNI is always 5% so it has least chance among all categories in most over subscribed IPOs ..
