I also sold cello ipo in upstox yesterday. I placed the withdrawal request at 10 am today and at 10.02 am I got funds in my bank account( within 2 min). Are all the brokers following different rule?

My experience --> I sold cello world yesterday (Monday) through icicidirect.com account. I received bank account credited message today(Tuesday), 7.30 AM. Usually in T+1 settlement , payout are happened on To-night and your account should credited next day of trade. Even if you traded on Friday your account should be credited on Saturday(All saturday).

If i want to roll up my fund in next/coming IPO then its very important to credit bank account in timely manner.

​@RealQueen thanks for information. Don’t you need to put funds withdrawal request in Icici direct? Will it come automatically to your bank account?

If you sold on Mon, then funds will be deposited on wed midnight, so wed morning you can see them in bank account. Zerodha follows this

​@IPOFreakSir, Yes you can use Flexi FD in AUSF Bank for applying in IPO. It will only break if you you got allotment and you do not have the allotment amount free in your Savings account.

This are the points I got from AU Bank in an Email:

1) While applying for ASBA, the lien will be marked on linked sweep-in (Flexi) FD balance.

2) If required, the AU Savings/Current Account balance will also be considered for ASBA lien marking.

3) On successful allotment, debit from AU Current/Savings Account will be initiated first and wherever required (by EOD) the linked sweep-in (Flexi) FD balance will be utilised.

Very good facility as mentioned above. Is similar facility available in SBI? 2nd question if I use auto sweep facility in SBI will my existing FD s remain as it is? I don't want to break existing FD s. I have enough money in savings account apart from FD s. 3rd question if I want to keep only 10 lakh in auto sweep not more, when I receive money in savings account can I immediately create a separate FD?

My abovequestions are regarding SBI only. 10 lakh may please be read as 10.15 lakh

Hi @Jai Jai Pratap  I wanted to ask if the same is applicable for RBL Flexi FD/ Linked FD, is there anyone who have used the RBL Flexi FD facility and applied for ipo??

Also Which banks are you guys using for 3rd party asba now a days??

​@investormahesh SBI has auto sweep facility and the MOD Scheme for the same. The sweep threshold creates FD on its own when the account balance crosses that threshold.

​@Rabby Every bank has its own branding of the sweep facility, for RBL being the Flexi FD.
Try IDFC and PNB for 3rd party ASBA currently though i suggest to not pursue this in the long run.

​@investormahesh ,@MuStrFc SBI has auto sweep facility (MOD) but this cannot be used in IPO application without breaking FD.

If you do not have sufficient balance in savings Ac then your MOD breaks immediately and then the lien is marked.. I have tried it twice.

​@Vimal Garodia Sir, as @investormahesh said he had enough balance in his savings and want the auto creation of savings balance above threshold into FD, i suggested that.

Using this for IPO is another thing, which works in a different way.

​@investormaheshSir, I have SBI accounts and it do not provide a facility where we can apply in IPO using the FD amount. SBI require that the amount should be in Savings account only.

@RabbySir, I do not have RBL account so not sure about it's Flexi/Linked FD features. @MuStrFcSir gave that infrormation.

WRT to 3rd Party accounts I strongly believe sooner or later they will be discontinued fully. I do not use 3rd Party accounts.
