Correction, Currently FII already holding 93% in Company itself already. And after IPO, their Investment will be reduced to 35%

Post IPO, FIIs will be able to buy shares of Equitas on listing as their ownership will come down from nearly 93% currently to 35%, creating space fore further FII participation.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has an investment limit of 49% for FIIs in a SFB.


The 139-million share offering saw 2,390 million bids worth around Rs 26,200 crore. Due to high pre-IPO shareholdings, FIIs were not allowed to participate in the issue. The first IPO by a small finance bank (SFB) saw heavy demand from all investor categories. The IPO was also biggest since InterGlobe Aviation''s Rs 3,000-crore IPO last October.

1. Commencing Ist Jan 16, IPOs were done through ASBA method only. Not anymore through broker site.

2. If you have online savings with SCSB banks, look for ASBA menu.

3. You can register your details that are asked in the bank ASBA column. (Your DP, PAN, name, etc)

4. You should apply at cut off price before 2 pm, some accept up to 3 p.m. But be on the safe side to apply before 2 pm on the third or final day of subscription.

5. After this time, you will not see the IPO name in your ASBA column.

In NSE website http://nseindia.com/products/content/equities/ipos/ipo_current_equitas.htm , I see "Post issue Modification Period". I dont know what is it.

Is it like once we apply, if we want we can cancel the applied shares???
Please anyone could you please tell me what is the procedure to cancel the application after applied. In some conversation here, i see to block the payment. Is there any other way?

Amazing numbers....im waiting to laugh my way to the bank...lets hope the market is steady... and even if its not like it happened in Teamlease, I still made profit there....the retail numbers are exciting and im expecting good allotment

I applied through ASBA/Corp Bank, this allows applications till 3pm

On last day 3ed day of issue

which broker allows application till 3.00 pm any idea ?

Sharekhan at least.
But its too late now, better ask on phone .. they might accept till 5:00-5:30PM...

I think retail people did not apply becauntil noon time, there was no good subscription.
