wat abt employee quota ? it is less subscribed right ... so its remaining shares also needs to come to retail quota ... right ... so i feel confirm allotment of min lot to all i guess ... Eagleye , septa , RKS ji and all experienced boarders ur take plz ????
I agree all retailers will get atleast one lot. becasome of the retailer have bid for more than one lot from the same account, they will get only one. so everyone will get this one
If karvy is registrar, there is going to be heavy rigging and cornering of shares. I have a history of poor allotment with karvy. Let''s see. I like link intime compared to karvy. No Calculation done by us will work by us as they follow their own for their own benefit !!!!
All posting wrong message about subscription. Cut off subscription on both NSE n BSE combined is 1.223. However, total subscription is 1.39 inclusive of those who have applied below cut off.
So the allotment ratio would be 81/100(taking cutoff subscription of 1.223) means 81 applicants out of 100 would get allotment.
If I apply 10 lots each in 3 applications, then is there probability of getting all 10 lots or one lot only per application (assuming I apply from 3 members of family). This is in case I get allotment in 1 or 2 out of 3 applications.
Of course, I have applied only one lot, but just asking for knowledge
Actual RKS u wrong important here is not how many times it is oversubscribed more important how many application Equitas received that determines the ratio some may I applied one lot some 13. So ur calculations is wrong
This data Equitas Holdings Limited - IPO Subscription as on 07 Apr 2016 | 07:40:30 PM QIB: 15.05x HNI: 57.47x Retail: 1.4x Total: 17.28x No. of Apps: ~ 583196 Retail as per Apps : 1.14x
So based on this for every 114 applications 100 will get allotment 0.88 is ratio
this 1.14X time application is for total application including the cut off and price application so if u remove problem application and below 110 application the ratio will be better
also it is wrong to consider all those applied at price band applied below 110 so time many apply at 110 and not at cut off... bcoz technically u can apply at 110 also and not tick cute off price
Dear Rajeev, Here you are making one wrong assumption that all retailers have applied for one lot only(minimum) which is not true. So allotment would be much better, may be 9/10.
Yes I agree that my calculation has taken assumption that all applicants have applied for one lot. Thats why I think everyone thinks Karvy gets it wrong while allotting shares. I now think and assume that Karvy does allotment in the ratio that I have calculated and that is why some get multiple lots on same application and some get none. My guess

So I conclude from this discussion thread 647 that it is NOT THE number of lots, that counts for allotment.
I understand that it is the number of applications, be it 1 lot or 10 lot, that counts.
I also understand that those who applied for 1 lot might NOT get even one lot. and those who applied for 13 lot will get ALL 13 lots - assuming this is the method followed by this particular Registrar
all retailers will get 135 shares and those who apply for more than 135 share under retail category will get prorata if shares are left in that category
if any, in the Employee Reservation Portion will be added back to the Net Issue. in ration 50% QIB 15% HNI 35% Retail in this case in case say RII is undersubscribed then it will add to pool where it oversubscribed
I feel retailers having multiple accounts should have applied for more than one lot in at least few of their accounts Since this is subscribed only 1.2 times, probability of allotment is for 1 application, all will get allotment (nearly).
Scenario 1. In retail category, at *25 Rs premium/share PER LOT, profit = 3375*. Scenario 2. If it is 10 lots, profit = 33,750* *All figures are only an estimation
I also feel that since FIIs are not in it now, they will come on listing day. I feel its better to hold due to such high demands and not sell on listing.
Total shares reserved in retail 6,93,80,826 6,93,80,826/135 = 513933. 513933 applicants should get one lot of 135 shares.
Someone posted in this forum that approximate application received are 5,68,000 till 6 PM. Approximate 10.3% applications received more than quota in retail. So, allotment ration should be 10:11. (10 applications from 11 will get allotment of one lot (135 shares)).
I have a query. You are assuming that all retail applications are bid at cut off which would not be true.If some applications are bid at lower price then allotment may be still liberal. I am new to this field. Correct me if wrong.
Good Evening Septa, Eagle Eye and all Leading boarders of the group
I have applied for 13 lots at Cut off price. 1) What are the chances of me being allotted all 13 lots 2)Till when allotment will be finalized and how i will be notified abt it
Could you please through light on these. I am a newbie in IPO market. Many Thanks.
zero chance of get 13 lots since the issue is over subscribed at application level which means the total number of application in retail is more then the required application for minimum one lot per application so now u r in the same boat as those applied for one lot
