In online bidding money is blocked by bank immediately, but in case of application in paper form, it is blocked when Syndicate member sends form to bank.

Bid id is sent to investor by BSE & NSE through e-mail and SMS on same day of bidding. But bid is complete only when fund is blocked by bank and its confirmation sent to Issuer electronically.

Bank can reject application for blocking fund for ASBA if signature of account holder does not tally as per their record.

For Equitas Holding, in most of the banks, fund is blocked today.
