See strong FY17 AUM growth; small bank launch in 2016: Equitas The company has applied for final license recently and is working to get its infrastructure in place, says PN Vasudevan, MD of Equitas Holdings.

Equitas Holding'' s net profit rose 28.2 percent at Rs 46.8 crore versus Rs 36.5 crore in the fourth quarter last foscal. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, PN Vasudevan, MD of the company, said he expects steady growth in FY17 to come across all segments. He is of the view that Equitas is likely to get AUM) growth in the current fiscal. However, he believes the major challenge that remains is managing the risks involved in the business rather than its growth. The company, he added, has applied for final license recently and is working to get its infrastructure in place.

Fii are in no hurry to start buying aggressively in equitas as some fools investors thinking so, they enter only when weaker heart exit on panic selloff or prices falls below 100 or ipo labels

Why Equitas share price is not moving up in spite of stellar results...

From boarders'' confident msgs, I was expecting it to move around 150 today, but its below 145.

Again open at higher range and because of huge selling pressure emerge at these level put price at lower level..150 technically is a big hurdle for equitas lets see if it able to breaks it or not

My opinion is as under:

i don''t think, it can go down 4% lower by Monday closing.
1. It can go down for intraday, but 4% i doubt.
2. Chances for going up is more as...

a. Result is good...
b. Only good news are waiting for this stock in days to come...
b. Stock price has not moved in fast manner before it''s result...
c. On technical though there is just 11 trading days data) till date, it is showing strength only...
So remain invested is the key, till it gives us decent gain...

Without naming anyone that equitas will b down by 4% is absolutely right and quite reasonable and it is healthy if it happens in the start and around 11 this is usually trader''s strategy of pushing the scrip high
Otherwise scrip has the tendency to reach and breach165 shortly

Some one on this board says that , market will punish Equitas with this good results. Assumption by Khemka ji, arup ji etc.
But one thing certain that, i would be net buyer on this script on each dip.
Even any value investor , who understand the basics of investing will purchase this.

Business of Dr lal and thyrocare is different and market is presently rewarding them higher PE multiple but this will not happen in future. Certainly not. They certainly test lower level, not seen before, when market is not rosy , as like present.
We had seen d similar case , with S H Kelkar. It is market darling at that time. I had sold my allotment holding at 250 per share (being i am not convinced with PE multiple of 50) . it touches high of 275 and again see downwards upto the level of 216.
I had not been allotted thyrocare, but if allotted, i would leave d ship on 800/- per share and would not greed for more.
