I have few things relevant and irrelavent things to ask. this is unimportant here, but its important for my life.
1. As a mechanical engineer (me too AMIE half and DME), is it worth to set up a design shop thtat would deal in plotting, drafting, modeling in 3 d of machine drawings? Is such a business existing? If it exists, how profitable it is, and cumbersome it is to run such a shop? I dont have any contact at all in this field. or head or tail. I am totally now out of that since doing BPO work.
2. UBer or Ola Taxi, I want to buy UBER and OLA 2-3 taxis of course 1 at first. A second hand one costing 2 lakhs and operate it with a driver who will get paid by me....Because I cannot drive all the time since I have a IT-related work.
3. Meddling with stock market with proper training first. First 2 are irrelevant for the third one, how to start and where to start...any books, or blue print available, can you elaborate how to study?
4. I also have wishes to start a online selling like snapdeal and flipkart and amazon. like selling phone accessorries.
I want you people to suggest among these 4 so that I can work with passion, earn lot of money, and more importantly year on year.growth.
I have been working hard for 10 years in night shift BPO and want to change line with a small investment.
So friends, guide me which is the best for me. You can also give your own business ideas. Thanks in Advance, RKS, Eagleeye Septa sir, Gravita parol, chem cho, pinkyjain, or anyexperienced person can answer this please. I also cannot work so hard, but manage these due to sleep pattern changes and other minor physical ailments. I want to supervise in these and earn sitting
My capital for all these is very limited 5 lakhs only and within this i have to manage these. at present i dont want to go for loans.
Thanks in advance every suggestions. The people around me are not much learned, business minded or advanced. I think here, I can meet lot of various people of various fields. so i thought you would get best suggestions.

Shivajee what is ur age? Just asking so that can give u better suggestion. I too am a mech engg n so would be able to help u out. Also, u need to tell what exactly u do right now n what all u do alongwith ur committments n responsibilities.Financial planning is a big puzzle to crack. I have helped a lot of people in stressed financial condition who were working under me n I will try to help u too. Not everyone can do it. U see a lot of people here will discuss lots of crap but as far as helping someone is concerned in financial matters is concerned they r a big 0. This forum is not a correct forum to discuss all these things. Mail me ur details @ rs8338328@gmail.com.
@Shivajee me too a Mechanical Engineer with Mtech in Industrial (which I left in between and took PG Diploma) wasting my life as a Bank Officer.. I would like to join you or get some ideas.. I have certification in Solid Works (3D modeling) soft too.. you can join me on whatsap 94179-11460
Nice to meet you here Parminder. Noted your contacts. Industrial engineering was a subject of interest to me. Especially CPM (critical path method) and PERT. Solid works is a user-friendly application compared to the costly others.
Bank officer is a good job if you are able to be in PSU banks especially as long as you are in the post. But one thing is not so good in Bank. That is the pension part after you retire. A PSU does not fetch you that much pension as other departments like state govt jobs ie teacher or PWD. A transport bus conductor gets a better retirement life like housing etc. AIBEA is still requesting for hike in pensions for long I think.
But you need to plan it and use the facilities wisely before you retire however long the service you may have. At the same time, its slightly risky if you''re in cash or such sensitive positions.
Put your mail id so v cd discuss.

its ok but overall i have view only upto june what level i should be think of exit. I believe this could go 200 soon but i have short time. i can keep the profit share for long term but i need my capital. what is your advice?
Equitas Holdings Ltd has submitted to BSE a copy of presentation to be made at the Meeting of the analysts / institutional investors, scheduled on May 09, 2016.
The higher the Percent of Deliverable Quantity to Traded Quantity the better - it indicates that most buyers are expecting the price of the share to go up.
I think u had not heard about central govt UDAY scheme. In d scheme, power sector loan, where both REC and PFC are major financier will be converted into respective state govt bonds. Earlier they are earning Interest ranging from 12-15% but now onwards they will only earn coupon/interest rates of 8-9 %. 50% of states power discom debt had converted into respective state bonds. Another 25% by june 2016 and rest by fiscal end. PFC and REC looking good based on past earnings but it is not wise to invest in both stocks considering low future earnings. We know that, again state discom will face debt problem due to higher cost and low income model but the problem will only starts after 3-4 years

Equitas Holding – Concall Highlights
Conversion To SFB – not spread dilutive: Management guided that even post SFB conversion they would continue to focus on existing high yields products. It intends to introduce lower yield Gold loan from a “cross-sell†and priority sector perspective.
Guides existing customer base holds big opportunity for liability building: the bank noted that existing customer base could contribute ~35% of the liability base (though looks a bit aggressive).
Apart from building low cost BC model, and a branch network--existing infrastructure holds strong opportunity to create liability franchisee: along with building new branch franchisee, Equitas guided that existing infrastructure holds strong leverage opportunities to build liabilities and would build a strong BC model to serve the lower end of the clients.
Reverse merger a possibility: As the proposed SFB is likely to get listed within three years of starting the operations, the management intends to apply for RBI’s approval to reverse merge the holding company with SFB.
Gains on costs of funds, even as retail liabilities takes time to build: It guided to benefits on costs of fund as existing bank borrowings are preliminary estimates suggest gains could be ~200 bps).
Other Highlights: It has tied up with insurance companies recently to distribute their products. Banking conversion process should take 2/3 quarters to consummate. Equitas is also building on e-platfrom for transporters and freighters, under a separate subsidiary, and sees this as a connect and cross sell opportunity with its vehicle finance clients.
Quarterly performance Highlights
Strong focus on growth to continue
The geographic diversification showed improvement with Tamilnadu contributing 56% of total AUM as against 64% in FY15.
Incremental pressure in Micros finance asset quality is ascribed to concentrated branches in Rajasthan (Hail storm) and Madhya Pradesh. We believe with the aggressive growth such hiccups looks inevitable although manageable.
Downward trend in yields is as the benefit of lower costs of funds is passed on to the customers given the RBI’s cap on spreads. Equitas has been building in spreads of 9.5/9.75% in as against 10% allowed by RBI.
Higher Opex was contributed by bonus provisioning, strong branch addition in Microfinance, and also senior level hiring for the banking operations.
The current valuations are at 2.1x and 2.0x FY17/FY18 book (numbers can change post one-o-one with the management expected this week, and depending on when the SFB becomes operational (management guided for SFB conversion in next 2/3 quarters, for now we have built in SFB to start from Q1FY8)
Very good info. I am watching this delivery% since listing day nd by seeing it i have added more. Feeling 147 there is strong supply need to cross with high volume tomorrow

as you wanted ... 147 crossed today (with high volumes)
I fail to understand why the stock fell even with such stupenduos results. Any other stock would have risen 10-15% with such results. Such results can only be dreamed of. Those who were saying the stock would fall- I would like to ask the basis of such a prediction. There has to be some logic to everything. What''s the logic of equitas falling even after stellar performance.
Below is the verbatim transcript of PN Vasudevan’s interview with Latha Venkatesh & Sonia Shenoy on CNBC-TV18.
