So when everybody find virtue and value in SBI Card and start recommending SBI Cards........it suddenly give a fall of 5%. So by blindly following external advices will not generate wealth for you........1..decide your risk profile...2 Decide your time horizon 3. Determine your liquidity 4. Assess your knowledge and capability in stocks
then only venture into direct equity investment otherwise.....mutual funds is safer option.

Unless someone has sufficient knowledge.........he/she may lose all money in a single transaction which he/she may have earner in numerous transactions together.

SBI Card down went down by 9% in the morning today ...now 7% down.

I have nothing against SBI Card Stock. It may have come down but when it rises, no one be able to catch. This quarter was anyway expected to be one of the worst.

I just do not agree with open ended recommendations like
- SBI Card good at any levels
- Buy even at 900 will reach 4 figures (with no mention "WHEN")
- Buy at any price etc

Experts and analysts give this kind of open statements to go with the momentum so that it clicks with the gullible investors. Psychologically, very few people will appreciate or like an expert or analyst who recommends "CAUTION" when stock is continuously hitting new high........because it is against the current momentum.

To be successful in the stock market.......or each transaction one should keep in mind
1. Is Buying price gives me higher probability of gains?
2. How long I want to remain invested in this stock?
3. How much gain I am expecting ..in short, mid and long term
4. Will I have the sufficient liquidity, if I am stuck in the stock for longer duration and some more aspect?

If we transact without considering these and similar important aspect of investing, sooner of later we will get a major shock from the stock marker.

Poor IPO of worst management. Not applied. Today morning sold holding of 100 Equitas holding @ 49.75. Avg purchase was 46. No need to keep the shares in portfolio.

I am stuck with 1 share , purchase price rs 105... Don't want to sell with 50 % loss. Even though it's only rs 55 loss....

Can you please open a new section of "Buyback". Investors can do healthy conversations of Particular buyback. Presently WIPRO & TCS buyback is in news.

It's a game....after lasting all categories people will participate, just see and watch....

If I applied in shareholder category for lower band (32). I will get allotment or not as shareholders category undersubscribed? Or if price fixed at upper band, they will give allotment to who applied at upper band(33) only ? Can any one clarify?

If Cutoff price will be fixed at Rs 33, no shares will be allotted to you

Will equitas sfb float FPO in next few months? Can an FPO have shareholder category? If not then those who have one share of equitas holding can sell it.

ESFB may exercise OFS, MERGER with other company (example bandhan bank merger with gruh finance), QIB placement but further FPO is unlikely. It will beg RBI for further date extension and dafault on various statuary requirements.

Future road for EQUITAS is fully jerking until promoter EQUITAS reduce it's holding to 40%.

Overall subscription 1.95X. ESFB was well aware of getting poor response in ipo. That's why it changed it DRHP on 25.09.2020 and reduced the offer size by half.

Poor employees too got trapped in this ipo without getting any discount. Even CAMS and UTIAMC offered decent discount to it's employees.

Also, Shareholders did not get category discount. Even Ujjivan SFB offered Rs 2 discount over it's issue price of 37.

UTI there was not discount.

Poor ipo, high price, we will get cheaper in secondary market after listing. I have strictly avoided this ipo.

One more doubt sir... hoe to file IT in case i transfer shares from my father account to me , both of us paying and filing IT every year ... for example CDSL i am transferring 100 shares from my father account to mine which he purchased two years backat 240 rs, assuming current price is 450rs. please let me know what is the TAX implication for my father and what will be the purchase price for me ???

AS IT IS OFF MARKET TRANSACTION, IT WILL ATTRACT LTCG ON INDEXATION BASISAS NO STT IS PAID WHICH IS PREREQUISITE OF EXEMPTION OF RS. ONE LAC IN A FINANCIAL YEAR

If it is not sale then no capital gains tax. If gift then cost to original will be your cost. You can claim indexation and other benefits. If loan then obvious.

All HNI and shareholders will get full allotment due to under subscription ????????????

Hopefully Retail will also get full and firm allotment. HNI and shareholders quota shares will be distributed to QIB and Retail category applicant

Both NII and Shareholders quota not subscribed even 1X. Forget about listing gain, wait for listing loss of 25%. Even shareholders have no faith in management of this company.

Faltu me equitas ka ek share liya tha. Ab sell kerne me Rs 20 ka DP charges lagega. Loss of Rs 20 :)

Super flop show by equitas-small-finance-bank. Even HNI and shareholders quota could not be fully subscribed.

Greedy promotors, greedy pricing.

Advice to retailers who have subscribed to this issue - SELL ESFB ON LISTING DAY AT WHATEVER PRICE YOU WILL GET. Don't wait for the script to come back to the issue price.

Promotors has to target to reduce it's holding upto 40% by September 2021. So share is not at all good for long term and there will be steave price correction in future due to plenty supply of shares
