I can adjust the fund for approx 4 Lac for EMS IPO. How should I apply so that chances of getting allotment gets higher?
Should I apply under sHNI category (1 application) and the remaining from Retail ?
Experts please guide

In recent months the Regulator has introduced IPO rules - T+3. Normally IPO subscription period is for three days. Even in the new Rule IPO subscription period is for 3 days. Paper Applications are done away with . Application for IPOs is online , either UPI payment or 3-in -1 Account. in both cases, Application Amount is blocked. I am not an expert and possess requisite knowledge in the field of IPO. Just a random thought . Application and process of basis of allotment, credit of shares to respective Demat Accounts and refund of Application Amount by way unblocking, in case of unsuccessful Applicants are fully automated. In the fully automated environment, is it not possible to fix IPO subscription period for only one day. In recent days there are IPOs that are fully subscribed on day one with exception of QIBs. If only one day is fixed for an IPO, even QIBs will apply on day one.

If I don't get allotment in ipo how do I know my application was correct but didn't got because of oversubscribed or my application itself was rejected because of some error. If I know that I can rectify those thing on next ipo and applications be truly correct. Thanks in advance

You can mail to registrar with application number and ask the reason for non allotment. If their is any error in your application they will tell you. As i didn't got any SME allotment till now so few months back i mailed the registrar and asked the them about validity of my application and they gave me a proper reply for that.

Suraj also thanks I have sbi and kotak. In sbi name is Rajan Rajeshbhai Patadiya in kotak it is Patadiya Rajan Rajeshbhai. Pan name is Rajan Rajeshbhai Patadiya. I am in ipos since 2018 used only sbi just for jupiter I used kotak and I want to know truth. As mentioned I will check with registrar. No third party nothing.

2. Which one is good ASBA or UPI ?

3. "Applying on last day of ipo doesn't get allotment" is it TRUE?

​@JK KING Got many many allotment through IDFC Asba , I see no reason to doubt about it. ASBA is best facility.

I mostly apply on last date through ASBA and got allotments , so its incorrect to think that last day application through ASBA dosent get allotment. About 80 % of subscription comes on last day.

Can you please add "GMP on IPO closing day" column on IPO performance tracker page. This will help many people to analyse the performance, who consider GMP while applying IPOs.

BSE showing: 0.26 times

@admin and you are showing 0.55 times.

Reason for difference ?

And Number of shares offered also not matching with the BSE & NSE.

QIB window may be closed a day earlier as was practiced many years before for a brief period to facilitate better Retail decision making.

Wait till last day of EMS, check the response. By that time RR's price band and GMP will be out. Make decision after that.
