i called and they they said 16 alloted...i had applied with 36k

Msg no. 137 & 140. Where from you got allottment details ?. I don't know who send u e-mails. Cameo's website does not show allottment status as of now. May be your relatives are there in cameo. Great!!!!!!!

I applied for Empee but am concerned that some interested partie(s) manupulated GMP during application phase because it sank like a stone immediately thereafter. If it were true that investors stayed away due to Cameo and that there will be a mad rush in secondary market, then it should now be reflecting in the GMP.

I called up Cameo. I said the word Empee Distiller, he said call back on 21st. They are not saying when allotment and refund will be made. For evrtyhing call on 21st

The market today is in a frenzy over EDELWEISS, RELIGARE and MUNDRA. Things change fast. EMPEE will be at Rs 650/- on listing day. Just be patient. BEST OF LUCK.

Whatever u said is correct from your point and what others said from their experience is also correct. People who had bad experience with cameo will not praise them. During Everonn, cameo send cheques to many people (At least I know 5 people in different locations including me) instead of ECS. Many times I telephoned them, but phone rings nobody attends. Their website cloggs when the allotment details are published (my experience ). Now I gave just one example. Religare oversubscibed heavily. Yet the registrar allotted shares on 13/11/07. ECS refund recived by many. (My self being located in a secondary town in Karnataka also got ECS refund). As you said Empee subscribed 6 times. Today is 16th and its registrars are not ready with allotment details. They may have reasons. But in this market where time matters, they should improve thier performance. I understand that you people did not face any problem with cameo. Lucky people.
