Hello Guys, i have applied for the first time sHNI categorgy. Thing is by mistakenly i placed bid using cutoff price. Bid placed shows 1008 rs so now anything can be done. How do i untick cutoff or will i get allotment even if i checked cutoff.

Dont worry @Jaiom Devnani ... most of the banks and brokers dont allow CUTOFF option for HNI bids ... in your case it allowed and it shows u bid price as 1008(which is the upper band) ... so no issues...urs is still a valid bid only ... no worries ... if ur application is destined to get allotted it will not be rejected for this reason ...

@neraj If mandate is not through, your sHNI application will not go for assessment. You may apply again using same credentials. Try ASBA if Groww is not allowing to put another application.

There are so many banks like ICICI, Yes Bank, Kotak Bank, Indusind bank etc who offer such a facility under different scheme names. Check with your bank for requirements to enable the same.

@Mani sharma If you are having fomo then you can purchase any of these stocks using SIP method buying at dip but keep an eye on union budget that will be major factor for these stocks
I think last year major focus was on railway and green energy stocks and this year its on defence
At last this is my opinion and not a recommendation

In oversubscribed issue, allotment will be through lottery. Taking example of your query, In retail if subscription is 10x, allotment will be done for 1lot only to lucky allotees. Chances of allotment for those applied 10 lots is same as that of 1 lot application. Hence, it is futile or pointless to bid for 10 lots in single application as just 1 lot application would suffice. There is no guarantee of allotment whethet you bid for 1 lot or 10 lots. It is sheer luck which if favours you can get 1 lot through lottery.

Listing Price now capped by NSE for NSE SME IPO on listing day at 90%, Effective from today 4 July 2024.

BSE SME has already fixed at 90% since long.

In my view what diwan ji is saying is correct that it will be difficult to buy on listing as flippers orders are executed somehow first. May be their system are super fast than common public

Let's see
If BHNI subscription 20x
And Shni subscription 20x

And i have 10 Lk with 5 accounts

If i go with 1 BHNI than lottery will be 1/4
So i have to be lucky for only 1 time(luck circle turns for me for just one time)

If i go with 5 Shni than lottery will be 1/20
But i have 5 chances to be lucky (luck circle will tures 5 times for allotment)

In anyway 5 attempt are better than 1 attempt to be lucky

But whole maths failed if BHNI 20x and shni 60-80x

After all luck play more than maths

@Ujjwal Agarwal I feel, it purely depends on luck, there is no set formula, you can decide on based on the final subs at 2PM last day.
My personal exp: I was applying SHNI with 5 to 7 accounts for 2 to 3 months, never got any allottments in main board IPO's.
So had switched to all retail, got multiple allotments.
Recently shifted to BHNI's + Retail, there also got allotment.
Since you have already 5 accounts, you can consider 1BHNI and 4 Retail combinations also.

Hello members,
I applied for MUTHOOT MICROFIN LIMITED IPO and didn't get allotment at that time.
But my AIS/TIS Statements on Income Tax Portal is showing it under the head: "Purchase of securities and units of mutual funds"
I don't fill tax via Chartered Accountant, can someone let me know how I can get it removed, if anyone faced this issue earlier?

And retail maximum lots are waste of effort as it is fully subscribed

1. Get the minor Pan card and aadhar card ready
2. Open minor bank account with minor pan bank like Kotak, HDFC, Icici providing the facility of ASBA
3. Open demat account like prostocks, zerodha but parent account must to open with these broker before opening minor account now days.
