Dear Anonymous, there is no advantage in bidding at highest price. When u are bidding at cut-off, it means u are accepting whatever price that is discovered, so u get allotment (in proportionate basis) even if discovered price is highest, lowest or anywhere in between.
chor company, not even subscribed once, put money in ashoka and tecpro, only. throughout the day u will get tips to buy this dumb stock and that it will subscribe 10 times plus. ignore and use your brains.
Can anyone tell me what will be the difference between bidding at Highest price in the band vs bidding at cutoff price? I know that bidding at cutoff price means bidding at Highest price...but in case price decided is lower than highest price, should I get a preferred allotment as I have bidded at highest price? In other words do I get any advantage of bidding at highest price vs bidding at cutoff price... I hope you understand what i am asking...(sureshot way of getting allocation..I understand that in case of oversubscribtion it is proportionate allocation and sometimes lottery)....
