Thank you very much for your post. We three are at different level of age, experience and Financials.
1. I am going to complete 40 years of investing in near future. The time of initial investment was totally different. Good IPOs coming at no premium or very less premium. Investment was not that much. Tata Elexi at Rs. 10 only.
For an allotment, we had to wait for 3 months. All long time procedure.
Today's system is totally different. Start to end hardly 15 days. You know everything of today. We were very conservative in our thoughts. Looking at my age factor now, I don't belive in taking risk of profit/loss at high level. Need profit not at the cost of heart.
It is difficult to buy at the lowest and sell at highest level. Both never known to anybody. Your experience will automatically teach you everything. This forum has mix of good experienced, good knowledgeable at young age and middle age. They always share their useful viewe here. You have not shared your period of experience in investment in market.
Always take your own decision as per your appetite of your financials.

Please give me suggestions where i open MINOR account online which broker is allow to apply for ipo ....

unfortunately in BOB.... Mobile app doesnt show the application done on netbanking.. and vice versa... dont know why they dont have synchronization in both...

even Beneficiary added on mobile app doesnt show on netbanking.. and vice versa... need to add in both differently... dont know why :)

I am unable to put full DP name of "RKSV Securities India Pvt. Ltd" which is actually Upstox in HDFC asba ipo application due to default letter limitations. Should I put only "Upstox" in DP name? Is there any chance of rejection? Anyone faced similar issue?

Just put "RKSV", should be enough, I've been using the same on HDFC ASBA since ages and also got allotment few times.

Today I completed my 2 years in stock Market. It is this day i applied likhitha infrastructure as my first IPO. Did not get allotment but still the nervousness and half knowledge anxiety was there. I read about IPOs from this forum and my journey in stock market began with non allotment.
I gradually learned the bits and pieces of information needed to build up to what today I am.
I could never be thankful enough to this forum for the knowledge i recieved from other members.
To the newbies here and silent watchers , who are disappointed with loss and non allotment , i have only one sentence," apna time ayega".
When u apply for IPOs with conviction, u have nothing to loose until allotment. After that it's a game of strategy which I think you have to learn by yourself.
Remember, A product was once a theory to which someone took action on.

0racle Finance shares are trading near its 52 week low i.e. 2965. Better to keep eye on it. Dividend yield is 6% on present market price. No doubt costly one. Better to watch. Not a call to buy. If market performance is good it is likely to perform accordingly.

Solar Industries shares are good for long term. I am holding from last 16 years. A defense stock. Defense expenditure by Govt. is increasing every year. In last 6 months the shares have appreciated by 49% or so. Need not worry. If market goes down, it will definitely effect share price of all. But this is totally a different stock. In down market it has touched all time high. In last 2 days it has come down. Need not worry. Not a very liquid stock. Keep watching the stock. Rest our luck tobe taken into consideration. Generally I don't say more to buy any share. Before buying be careful with your thoughts.

Can somebody suggest good bank to open accounts for all the family members?
Situation,
1. I mostly apply Retail, once in a while SHNI
2. Last moment fund transfers are there
3. HDFC and ICICI are in my list
4. HDFC Netbanking goes to HDFC Sec,
on the last date, I can apply till 4 PM for Retail and 3 PM for HNI
5. Not sure about ICICI, but it is 3 PM I think.
6. Any other good bank to consider
7. I am Preferred customer for HDFC, holding life time free Diners Club Credit Card with N number of advantages.
7. Having Salary account with ICICI, so added advantages are there.

Suggestions are welcomed.

I have used both on premium accounts (hdfc classic, icici wealth management). As such in general services of both the banks are good, but when it sucks, it sucks bad. My experience by large has been good with both, and if you have premium accounts, ur experience will mostly depend on your RMs, who generally try to cross sell products (personal experience with hdfc). So I will recommend both equally if only these 2 have to be considered. May be slightly more in favor of ICICI due to their better tech integration which is the best I have seen in Indian banks.

Long time I had advised this forum people to exit Reliance @ 2400 and purchase PC Jewellers @ 24. Now, Those who might have heeded my request would be laughing all the way as PC Jewellers is about to hit 100, but Reliance is still languishing there.

Not following TBZ, but avoid Suzlon (its founder also died). Generally, avoid stocks with value under Rs. 10. My bad experience with Rel Com and KBC Global

I too stayed a long with Oil PSU behemoths like IOC, HPCL, GAIL, etc. but now sold off. I sold GAIL @ 86 and purchasec PCJ further at that price. Now, GAIL is thereabouts, but PCJ reached 98. So, there is no charm in staying with RIL, it will only give a false sense of belongingness and may be accomplishment, but of now use monetarily for which we have actually entered stock market.

Was anticipating profit of at least 50%. y'day sold only 1/3rd (1157) @89 and thought will sell remaining @92 & @95. looks like I will have to shed lesser money from my pocket for the macbook I bought (upgrade money came from this IPO) ;-)
